OBJECTIVE
I am seeking a position as Manager/ Construction Superintendent or Construction
Specialist
EXPERIENCE
I have been employed in construction in the petroleum and gas industry for more
than 25 plus years.
The last two years 2008/2010 I was employed by PetroChina as Construction Manag
er in Sumatra ,Indonesia working on oil and gas project extension and 200 km of
gas transmission pipeline.
Prior I was employed as Construction Manager for Chiyoda Corp. past 14 years. P
rojects that I have worked on include construction of 3 LNG Plants, 2 LNG/LPG Ta
nks, 2 LNG/LPG loading docks, 4, 12, 16, 24, 36 and 48 -inch pipelines, onshore
fabrication and offshore installation of oil and gas facilities.
Prior to the above my employment was General Construction Superintendent for 2
projects that included oil & gas separation, low gas expansion and installation
of 4, 6 & 8-inch flow lines in addition to 12 miles of 12-inch pipeline. I was
in charge of these projects from the date construction started until the project
s were completed and transferred to the control and operation of the client.
Proceeding the above I was employed as General Construction Superintendent for 1
2 years in the onshore fabrication and offshore installation of a variety of pro
jects in the Middle East, Far East, Africa and Asia. My participation began wit
h the inception of the projects and proceeded to completion and start-up. My are
as of responsibility included deck fabrication and installation and mechanical h
ookup and all phases of construction (piping, electrical, instrumentation, paint
ing) leading to commissioning and start-up. Additional areas of responsibility e
ncompassed underwater cable and pipeline lying (installation, pigging, testing).
Projects types included new and reworks. Such projects included modifications o
f wellheads and production platforms, new oil and gas separation plant, gas inje
ctions, water injection, removal of decks and jackets, living quarters, installa
tion of jackets and decks including revamp of jackets at sea level with new inst
allation. Some of the companies that I had long employment include Brown & Root
International, Wilbros International, Huffco/Vico

I was self-employed as the owner and manager of my own building construction com
pany prior to my experience in the petroleum industry. This experience has been
invaluable in carrying out my responsibilities for bidding, construction planni
ng, commissioning and start-up and commissioning many of these projects.

My employment has taken me to many countries and has afforded me the opportunity
to become familiar with a diversity of cultures and people. This experience ha
s enhanced my management skills, especially in the supervision of subordinate pe
rsonnel.
