Environmental Services Manager
Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
Responsible for organizing and executing departmental administrative and clerica
l programs and systems.
Responsible for developing and implementation of environmental services programs
which are designed to provide clean, sanitary facilities. Regularly inspects c
ompleted work and completes Quality Management reports. Makes recommendations f
or new methods to improve overall performance.
Develop and maintain an organizational structure and staffing schedules and duty
lists.
Responsible for recruiting, hiring, supervising and evaluating of non-supervisor
y and supervisory employees ensuring that standards of performance are met.
Responsible for the orientation, development and motivation of supervisory staff
, ensuring that staff is properly trained at all levels.
Implement inventory control procedures by recommending types of supplies to be o
rdered, quantity and timing of orders. Maintains appropriate records to track i
nventory levels and related costs.
Serve as Acting Manager in the absence of the Director of Environmental Services
.
Develops effective facility relations through formal and informal programs.
Maintains and keeps all department and employee files.
Update Kronos and submit the reviewed and confirmed payroll information on a tim
ely basis.
Responsible for conducting annual performance reviews of all staff members.
