MDEC Training for IT Students of Olympia College

Olympia College, Kuala Lumpur had recently organized a government sponsored training programme for the
final year Diploma in Information Technology students of KL and PJ campuses. The training was carried over
a period of 3 weeks, from late April to mid May ‘10 to equip the students with advance skills in Java
programming.

Upon completion, these students will be given a certificate as well as their names listed on the MDEC database
which can enable them to be selected by major organizations.

According to one of the Diploma in IT programme student, Mr Tanaraj from the KL campus “The training has
opened my knowledge base and I found the training useful. I am happy that Olympia College and MDEC has
given me this opportunity to build my I.T skills portfolio.”

The Diploma in Information Technology Programme allows entry into 2 nd year of degree into local universities
or University of Information Technology and Management (UITM) Poland, Europe at an affordable fee.
Olympia College’s cutting edge and industry oriented Diploma in Business Studies programme will equip
students with the right professional skills required by the multi-national corporations. Students will be
expected to participate, debate, analyse and appreciate the thinking of the various business leaders and their
leadership styles.

Olympia also offers the management oriented Diploma in Business Management programme which was
developed in consultation with CEO’s, Senior Managers and the Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA) to

The graduates from the Diploma in Business Management/Business Studies programmes will also be
