Olympia’s cutting edge and work-oriented Diploma in Business Studies programme (specialization in
Management) will equip every student with the right professional skills for their chosen business career.
That is our commitment to our valuable students. Highly qualified lecturers will introduce, reinforce,
enhance, and promote ideas and concepts through lectures, tutorial discussions, workshops on business
with supplemental audio visual aids.

Olympia College is also offering a new business programme – Diploma in Business Management .The
objective of the 2 ½ years Diploma in Business Management Programme is to develop students’ interest
in and knowledge of the world of business, including an understanding of markets and market economies;
the structures, and functioning of business organizations etc. Students need to have 3 SPM credits and a
pass in English or O Levels equivalent qualifications to get into the programme.

The graduates from the Diploma in Business Management/Business Studies Programme will also be
eligible for an additional Higher National Diploma award from Edexcel International, UK on completion
of an integrated project.

The Business Diplomas guarantees entry into 2 nd year of an undergraduate degree locally. Students who
want an international exposure can complete their degree through the University of Information

Technology and Management (UITM), Poland at affordable fees. The Business programmes also allows
entry into the final year of an undergraduate degree abroad.

Olympia also offers the Diploma in Hotel Management Programme. The 2 ½ year Hotel programme
develops the student’s interest, knowledge and understanding of the structure and scope of the hospitality
industry. It also provides graduates with the skills and capabilities to become successful lifelong students,
able to deploy the learning skills that they have acquired in a wide variety of contexts. Students need to
have 3 SPM credits and a pass in English or O Levels equivalent qualifications to enter into this
programme. Students who complete the Diploma in Hotel Management will :

1) receive an additional Diploma from the Business and Hotel Management School (BHMS)
(Switzerland)*

2) get an additional internationally recognized Higher National Diploma award from Edexcel
International, UK by completing an integrated project*

3) This will pave a way to the final year Bachelor of Arts Degree in Hotel and Hospitality
Management at the BHMS, Switzerland (6 months studying, 6 months working) or other
universities in the UK, USA, Italy and Australia*

Bachelor of Arts Degree in Hotel and Hospitality Management issued by The Robert Gordon University
Aberdeen.

I.T & Computing Programmes

Understanding the role I.T plays in shaping the future of the society and the way business operates,
Olympia College ‘s Diploma in Information Technology (DIT) programme has been designed to meet
the demands of the increasing job market for I.T specialists.

The DIT programme which is offered through the School of Computing and Information Science is
approved by the Ministry of Higher Education (MOHE). The entry requirement for the Diploma in
Information Technology programme is SPM with 3 credits and a pass in English and Mathematics or any
equivalent qualification. Full PTPTN loan is available*. (*terms and conditions apply)

The Diploma in Information Technology Programme allows entry into 2 nd year of degree into local
universities or University of Information Technology and Management (UITM) Poland, Europe at an
affordable fee.

Alternatively, students who has obtained SPM with one credit and a pass in English and Mathematics or
any equivalent qualification can opt to do the Certificate programme – Certificate in Information
Technology (CICT) first before proceeding to the diploma programme. The certificate programme runs
for 1 year and 4 months.

Olympia College offers master & undergraduate degree, higher national diploma, diploma and certificate
programmes. Olympia College has affiliations with international partners such as Edexcel International,
Schiller International University, American Management Association, Business & Hotel Management
School (BHMS) Switzerland, University of Information Technology and Management (UITM) Poland
and such. Our programmes are catered to someone fresh from school to working adults who are looking
for part-time evening programmes.
