A) Competencies

1) Technical / Functional

. Fully capable to do job assigned to me like Maintenance of Plant equipments, Operation of Plant,
Spare parts planning, Moving outsource proposals, Knowledge of statutory functions, Guide lines of
ISO-14001/9001. Ensured use of PPE. Ensured regular inspection of equipments and Safety of men &
machinery.

Successfully completed the recruitment of ACJT, Diploma holders as GM’s representative in


recruitment committee

2)Commercial acumen:- Possesses the ability to make instant accurate judgment concerned with
commercial aspect. Played a key role in numerous cost saving measures like reduction in idle running
time of equipment, Conveyors etc. to reduce the wear and tear of the machine and increase the bearing
life.
Transfer of Secondary crushers from RSP to KIOM has saved significant money under the capacity
enhancement project.

3) Inter personal skill & Team work:- I believe in team work as a sectional head I lead a group of
three hundred persons and always keep thire interest in mind. I believe in solving problems openly,
Show humanity and always polite with in dealing with seniors and juniors. Because of this there has
not been any IR problem in plant. Looking after the grievance of employees like personal, Civil,
Medical and electrical problem etc. and channelzing the problem and following –up with the
concerned department to resolve the problem. Always keep Company’s goal before the personal
prejudices. Due to excellent efforts of plant team members we are able to achieve plant availability at
90% and all sincere efforts are going on to increase it.

4) Positive Attitude:- I always think positive and motivate the subordinates for positive thinking and
work for a common goal of profitability for the company.

5) Proactive problem solving and initiative :- Have taken initiative in anticipating coming problems,
analyzing the problem, frame-up all kinds of alternative solution and take affective decision for
solving them. Have developed problem solving capabilities of supervisors, subordinates. Prepared in
advance of execution of work.
Proposal has been initiated for pumping back of slurry to evacuated mines pit .
Proposal has been initiated for provision of dry circuit in A line to operate wet/ dry circuit as per
requirement to fulfill the condition of availability of blue dust as we move in lower benches.
6) Communication skill:- Involve in frequent communication exercise for execution of plan to
achieve daily, monthly and yearly target with maintaining the quality parameter with seniors,
subordinate and employees. I believe in good communication among subordinate and work forces &
continuous feed back to seniors.

B) Potential
1) Vision & Leadership :- a) I delegate work by assigning responsibility and authority, encourage
my team members to present their ideas and plan. Maintain clam equilibrium during crisis.
b) Able to create a sense of accountability amongst subordinates, provide guidance and support. Take
initiative for developing skills and motivate team . c) Have leaded the team to achieve the goal of the
Company by setting self example of hard work, commitment towards company’s goal. Have given
different responsibility to subordinate and achieved the desired result.

2) Ability to assume responsibility and to take decision:- Ability to mobilizes resources and support
needed to take good decision and , if necessary take a personnel responsibility. While taking any
decision I always keep Company’s interest in mind.

3) Execution Ability :- Clear cut delegation of tasks and targets to subordinates as per planned and
continuously monitor the process.

5) Creativity :- I am very much flexible and unconventional in thinking and take different view point
from juniors, Seniors and colleague: - I always try to improve the availability of Plant.

C) Values :-
1) Customers focus :- Customer satisfaction is my first priority and the very purpose of the job, which
will ultimately lead to achievement of goal and target of the Company. Ensure consistent quality of
ore which is to be feed to Steel plant within prescribed norms.

Quality- Lump (APP) Fe - 63%, SIO2 – 2.1%, Al2O3 – 2.4%. Over size < 10%.
Actual Fe – 63.79%, SIO2 – 1.74%, AL2O3 – 2.32%, Oversize < 10%.

Fines (APP) Fe – 62.9%, SIO2 – 3.20%, AL2O3 – 3%, Oversize < 10%

Actual Fe – 62.64% SIO2- 2.86%, AL2O3 – 2.89%, Oversize < 10%

2) Consistent profitability :- Focused all departmental activities related to target production,


maintaing higher availability of Plant equipments for the utilization of production, Reduction in idle
time of Plant equipments, reduction in lubricant consummation, proper co-ordination with mining and
other deparmtnes, to achieve the company’s target for profitability in continuous time frame .

3) Commitment to excellence :- Have always been committed for excellence quantitatively and
qualitatively. Excellence aimed for and maintained for all departmental services provided. Frequent
feed backs taken from customer department and corrective action taken.

4) Concern for people :- Concern for workmen and subordinates have been kept in highest priority by
being compassionate, socially mixing, getting to know them and other inter personal activities. Have
earned respect from them, respect their views and have developed a bonding with departmental staffs.

5) Integrity & Character:- Have the quality of possessing and steadfastly adhering to high moral
principles and standard, setting self examples for other to follow and learn from superior and preach
example of high moral values to the subordinates.
