As a part of the program, students undertake courses designed and offered at some of the
top business schools leading to additional certifications.

The Harvard Business School Publishing course is part of the program to develop people
management and leadership skills of students.

Students participate in the Business Strategy Game by Prof. Arthur Thompson, University
of Alabama,USA. The game is a simulation for running a multinational company. Top teams
are invited to play against global competitors. Students receive certification for Business

Course Delivery
The course delivery methodology allows students a combination of focused and broad
based learning experience. The six term delivery methodology with each term of eight
weeks duration with five courses covered in every term ensures high level of academic
input and fast paced learning. The teaching methodology is an interactive learning process
with case studies, role playing and concept and technique sessions. This course delivery and
teaching methodology is being followed at renowned business schools around the world.

The institute follows an internationally adopted Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA)
grading system.

Hostel
All students at Bangalore and Navi Mumbai are provided with comfortable hostel in one of the best residential
community around the ISME Campus. There are separate hostels for boys and girls. All required facilities with

Student Activities
ISME’s emphasis on developing a strong sense of community encourages students to get to know one another. Students
have an opportunity to participate and lead number of clubs. This helps students to develop leadership skills and
continue the learning process outside the classroom.

Academic Club
Under the able guidance of the faculty, the Academic Club organizes a number of guest lectures, industry visits, current
business update workshops, case study competitions and personality grooming workshops. These activities improve the
overall personality of the students and exposes them to real industry environment.

Social Club
Social Club conducts social events like Teachers Day, Diwali Celebration, Thanks Giving Day, Cricket Day, Christmas Day
etc. The social club also supports social activities like teaching computers to the blind.

Literary Club
The Literary Club releases the students magazine ExCEL (Excellence
in Culture, Education and Leadership). This is a quarterly in-house
magazine of the activities at the campus. The magazine gives students
a platform to showcase their creativity, talent and their leadership
qualities. Articles and papers are contributed by students and faculty.
Through this magazine, students are encouraged to think of the
world around them. The magazine brings together current news from
the business world, students activities at the campus and hostel and
showcases the literary talent of the students.

Interface with Industry

Career Opportunity Center constantly engages and interacts with the industry to understand the
market trends and create placement opportunities for the students. The Center organizes various panel
discussions to expose students to the industry leaders.

Industry visits are organized to expose students to various career options. Students in the past have
visited a number of manufacturing and service companies where they get to interact with the senior
management and the working professionals and closely watch how various operations are performed
in an industry.

The Career Opportunity Center organizes workshops on resume writing, cover letters, interview skills, job
search skills, networking and counselling sessions to prepare students to develop effective interpersonal
and presentation skills.

As part of the mentoring program, a small group of students are assigned to a faculty to mentor and
counsel them for personal and professional development.

Recruiting Activities
The Center organizes on-campus and off-campus recruiting events where companies are invited to
participate and discuss various career opportunities in their organization.

The out-going PGPM batch got opportunities in number of top multi-national companies across various
industry sectors. ISME has achieved a 100% placement record since the very beginning.

ISME maintains strong corporate connections with international and
domestic companies through its Management Consulting Center and
group company NVT Quality Certification and international partners
like KEMA, Netherland.

Management Consulting Center

The Management Consulting Center specializes in high end
management consulting and training. It is a decade old organization
and has provided consulting services to companies like TCS, Satyam,
General Motors, Hindustan Aeronautics Limited, ITI, Lemuir Group,
BPL, MICO and many other organizations.

Institutional Membership
ISME is an institutional member of Bangalore Management
Association, NHRD (National HRD Network), BCIC (Bangalore Chamber
of Industries and Commerce), NEN (National Entrepreneurship
Network) and CII. ISME interacts and works with other members to
find suitable opportunities for the students.

Guest Speakers
The faculty and Careers Opportunity Center organizes guest lectures,

Admission Process
Admission to the program at ISME is highly competitive. The Admission
Office reviews applications on an individual basis looking at both
quantitative and qualitative aspects of an applicant’s professional and
academic background. The committee seeks to assess an individual’s
potential for academic success and future professional growth.

Eligibility
- Bachelors/ Master Degree from any recognized education institution
in Commerce, Management, Arts, Science, Engineering, Technology or
equivalent with minimum 50% aggregate marks.

- Good performance in one of the Management Aptitude Tests.

- Work experience would be an important consideration for admission.

Students opting for Information Technology Specialization, must have

Bachelors degree in Engineering in any discipline / Computer Science
or experience in IT.

applications are generally reviewed in chronological order according to

Selection Process
Stage 1: Complete Application Information
Every applicant seeking admission to ISME needs to complete the
Application Form, attach the required documents and submit the entire
application to ISME’s Admission Office.

Stage 2: Interviews
Shortlisted candidates are called for an interview with a panel of experts from ISME.

Stage 3: Admission Decision

Based on the review of the application and the recommendation of the interview panel, the admission committee invites
selected students for admission to the program.
Admitted candidates are sent the Admission Offer letter. The admission would be final only after the receipt of
confirmation of Admission Acceptance from the candidate and the payment of the security deposit. Fees once paid is
not refundable.

Bank Loans
ISME is committed to assisting students in finding the necessary financial resources for their education and will assist
in providing the necessary information for obtaining a bank loan. ISME has institutional approval from banks like Union
Bank, Punjab National Bank and Credila. Students in the past have got loans from State Bank of India, Bank of Baroda,
Oriental Bank of Commerce, Canara Bank, Bank of India, Central Bank of India and many other nationalized banks.
