Hired as a Client Service Manager to manage existing clients and to develop new
clients. Through solution selling, developed training projects with small to me
dium size manufacturing clients in Kentucky to improve their competitiveness, pr
ofitability through lean manufacturing practices, quality systems, strategic pla
nning and leadership development. Primary responsibility was to sell KMAC train
ing and consulting services through one on one client contact and manage those t
raining projects through their completion assuring customer satisfaction and a p
ositive financial impact on their facility.
Accomplishments:
*Grew the existing client base by 50 % through outreach marketing efforts in my
assigned territory, which contributed, to Kentucky manufacturers annual cost sav
ings of over $5 million and increased sales of over $29 million.
*Contributed to improved marketing tools utilized to reach out to Kentucky Manuf
acturers.
*Developed successful training and consulting projects for clients in the milita
ry sector, plastics, metal fabrication, mining, food production, packaging, auto
motive, composite materials, woodworking, and furniture industries which deliver

Primarily, my company assisted business in different fields with advertising, pr
oduct development, sales, distribution and marketing needs through consulting se
rvices.
In addition, Bluegrass Marketing successfully published an ad magazine in Nelson
County, Kentucky. It is the first of its kind in the area. I was the owner and
personally sold all the ad space and was responsible for ad design and overseein
g production of the publication.
Since 6/1/04, I have also been a licensed Real Estate agent with Goldmark Realto
rs Bardstown, KY.
*Developed successful 2 step and direct distribution programs for companies in t
he power equipment industry, which allowed my clients to grow their top line sal
es and grow their distribution base.
*Successfully created, produced and published direct mail literature for regiona
l retail and service businesses contributing to the growth of those businesses.
*Succeeded in real estate sales by associating with local real estate broker and
exceeded one million dollars in sales in my first full year.

1995 - 2003 Regional Sales Manager


Jacobsen Textron, Charlotte, NC
Retained as Senior Regional Sales Manager after the Textron acquisition. My prim
ary responsibilities have been sales of the professional lawn care equipment bra
nds of Jacobsen Textron and the management of distributor territories. Responsib
ilities included maintaining distributor loyalty and growing sales through diffi
cult periods of transition, consulting with distributors and dealers on marketin
g the right brands and models for their market. I assisted in creating marketing
programs, forecasting, and product development. Through working closely with th
e two steps of distributors and dealers within my territory, I consistently hit
or exceeded annual sales goals.
*Consistently grew sales in excess of targeted goals for the four brands under t
he Jacobsen Textron family of brands that were assigned to me for the east coast
of the United States. This contributed over thirty million dollars in sales ov
er the four brands.
*Contributed to the development of successful marketing strategies for four bran
ds of commercial landscaping products.
*Contributed to brand recognition strategies through innovative product features
, graphics, target pricing, target marketing, and regional performance demands.

1990 - 1995 Regional Sales Manager


Bunton Company, Louisville, KY
Hired as Florida Sales Manager for entire state. Serviced power equipment deale
rs with the goal of growing sales by developing a quality dealer network across
that state. Grew sales from $700,000 to $1,000,000 in two years through establi
shing strong dealer relationships with the best power equipment dealers in Flori
da, contributing to product development and improvements, and improved parts ser
vice. In two years was promoted to Regional Sales Manager of the South East Coas
t, covering six states, with the purpose of growing sales through improving the
distribution system. I was responsible for the sales and marketing of Profession
al Lawn Care products. Much of my time was devoted to consulting with distributo
rs and dealers on stocking and marketing the right product mix for their market.
Promoted to Sales Manager in 1995, responsible for creating marketing programs,
forecasting, product development, and managing the sales team.
*Consistently grew sales in excess of targeted goals for the Bunton brand commer
cial mower assigned to me for the south east coast of the United States. This c
ontributed over seven million dollars in sales to the Bunton Company.
*Contributed significantly to product development and design based on customer d
emands in the landscaping industry. Was instrumental in the development of Bunt
ons first Zero Turn Radius riding mower as well as additional models to follow.
*Developed successful business relationships with dealers, regional distributors
and national accounts such as Universal Studios, ServiceMaster, and large regio
nal landscaping companies.
