more. The I.T. job market is hot and there is growing concern that we are approaching a
shortage of skilled I.T. workers. Competition for people with the right training is up . . . this is

The first semester in Information Technology is common for all computer-related programs,
so no matter which path you think you’d like to pursue - programmer, analyst, technician,
web - you get to experience a little of everything. We offer a number of options, allowing
you a flexible learning experience. We are able to help you graduate with a certificate,
diploma or an advanced diploma, depending on your end goal.

Every Step Gets More Specialized


When you finish year two, you earn a diploma. Completion of year three, will earn you an
advanced diploma. Your course work becomes more specialized with each semester. Plus,
there’s co-op work experience so you can demonstrate your skills to potential employers.

Information Technology
Computer Programmer Analyst Internet Applications and
– a three-year Ontario College Advanced Diploma program (laptop required) Web Development
with a co-op education component. You will receive in-depth training in specific – a two-year Ontario College Diploma program (laptop required) that will prepare

Information Security
Management
– a one-year Ontario College Graduate Certificate program, designed to provide
students with an overall approach to information systems security as it applies
to business. The program is entirely web delivered and will provide a broad
understanding of security concepts and concentrate on industry best practices for
information security. Students will gain the knowledge required to manage both
the strategic and operational aspects of information security. Students will be able
to obtain positions such as security analysts, chief security officer, information
security auditor, and threat-risk/vulnerability security specialist.
