2011 CERDAS Foundation Fundraising Dinner
On April 16, 2011, the annual CERDAS Foundation Fundraising Dinner was held in North Bellevue Community Center. A night of food, music, inspirational speeches, and fun raffles, the fundraising dinner was one to remember. The event started off with a delicious Indonesian dinner accompanied with beautiful music, and then our keynote speaker, Professor Taifo Mahmud, PhD from Oregon State University gave an uplifting and inspiring speech about the importance of education and the positive effects on young people in their quest to become citizens of the planet. All in all, we were able to raise about $20,000 from this event! CERDAS would like to give many thanks to our supporters and volunteers for making this fundraising dinner such a success.

What is CERDAS Foundation?

CERDAS is a community-powered 501(c)3 non-profit organization in Seattle driven by a vision of a world where children have equal access to education, regardless of their ethnic, religious, social, political or economic backgrounds. We have twin missions of providing financial aid for education to underprivileged children and offering relief assistance in the event of a natural disaster or national emergency in Indonesia. We strive to provide children access to education early in their lives through a scholarship program for basic education and build partnerships with individuals and organizations in the local communities where the children live who share a similar mission. With a completely volunteer-run organization, every dollar of all financial contributions goes to our activities and scholarship program, keeping our cost overheads low and our scholarship recipients in school.
All proceeds will benefits the foundation. CERDAS is a non-profit organization based in Seattle WA committed to provide financial assistance for education to underprivilleged children in Indonesia. http://www.cerdasfounfation.org
