: 30 /30 Time : 8.10am 9.10 am Date : 21 June 2011 Focused skill : Reading Integrated Skills : Speaking and Listening Previous Knowledge: Pupils learnt about cultural and traditions in the previous lesson. Learning outcomes: 3.1 Acquire word recognition and word attack skills to recognise words on sight. 3.3 Read and understand phrases, sentences, paragraphs, and whole texts. 3.4 Read aloud expressively and fluently pronouncing words correctly and observing corrects stress and intonation, and sentence rhythm. 3.8 Read and understand simple factual texts for main ideas, supporting details, sequence, and cause and effect. Curriculum Specification: 3.1.1 Look at letters and say aloud the following sound: (x) silent letters. 3.3.3 Read and understand simple paragraphs. 3.4.3 Read aloud poems and stories clearly and expressively. 3.8.2 Scan for specific information in text. 3.8.4 Read and understand simple factual texts by answering comprehension questions in relation to main ideas and details.
