1. DESCRIPCION DEL APARATO
cable de este aparato resulta daado, dirigirse a un Centro de asistencia tcnica autorizado para que lo sustituyan. La jarra de este aparato ha de utilizarse nicamente con la base de conexin que le acompaa. No utilizar ningn otro tipo de conexin. en caso de avera o mal funcionamiento del aparato, apagarlo y no tratar de arreglarlo. en caso de necesitar reparacin dirigirse nicamente a un Servicio de asistencia tcnica autorizado por el fabricante y solicitar el uso de recambios originales desenchufar la base de conexin de la red cuando no est en uso, antes de colocar o quitar la jarra o antes de proceder a su limpieza. verificar que la jarra se desconecta automtica o manualmente antes de retirarla de su soporte. No colocar el aparato sobre o al lado de superficies calientes, como radiadores, cocinas, quemadores de gas o similares. Si es necesario un alargador, utilizar nicamente cable con toma de tierra con una seccin transversal mnima de 1,5 mm2.

2. ADVERTENCIAS DE SEGURIDAD

Si se entrega el aparato a otra persona, asegurarse de incluir este manual. Instrucciones de seguridad a la hora de conectar el aparato La seguridad elctrica de este aparato se garantiza solamente en caso de que est conectado a una instalacin con toma de tierra eficaz, tal y como prevn las vigentes normas de seguridad elctrica. en caso de dudas dirjase a una persona profesionalmente cualificada. asegurarse de que la tensin de la red domstica coincida con la indicada en el aparato. Conectar el aparato nicamente a una tensin alterna. Revisar peridicamente el estado del cable. No utilizar ningn aparato que tengo el cable o la clavija daados. Si el

Instrucciones de seguridad a la hora de utilizar el aparato No dejar el aparato desatendido mientras est en marcha y mantenerlo fuera del alcance de los nios! Las personas con trastornos en el sistema nervioso, no deben usar el aparato cuando estn solas, con el fin de evitar cualquier peligro. No conectar la jarra sin agua o con poca agua. La base de acero inoxidable se decolora y puede resultar daada si se utiliza sin agua. Atencin: evite el contacto con el vapor proveniente del pico vertedor de la jarra. No abrir la tapa cuando el agua est hirviendo. No llenar la jarra por encima de la indicacin "max" para evitar salpicaduras cuando el agua comienza a hervir.

 No poner la jarra en funcionamiento con un nivel de agua inferior a la indicacin "0,5l" Atencin: Cuando el aparato est en funcionamiento, la jarra alcanza temperaturas elevadas y existe riesgo de quemaduras. Utilizar nicamente el asa para verter el agua. Instrucciones de seguridad para la limpieza y el mantenimiento Antes de proceder a su limpieza o mantenimiento, desenchufar el aparato de la red y esperar a que la jarra se enfre. Al desenchufar la clavija no tirar del cable. No desenchufar con las manos hmedas. Como proteccin contra las descargas elctricas, no sumerja la jarra, ni la base de conexin, ni el cabe, ni la clavija, en agua o en cualquier otro lquido. No introducir el aparato en el lavavajillas Cumplir las instrucciones de descalcificacin.

5. PUESTA EN MARCHA
Elija la mnima longitud de cable requerida para enchufar el aparato a la toma de corriente y enrolle el resto del cable en el alojamiento de la base de conexin "g". Haga pasar el cable por una de las ranuras y enchufar a la red. Abrir la tapa, empujando hacia delante el botn de apertura "b" (fig. 2). Llenar la jarra con agua. El nivel del agua tiene que estar entre el mximo, "max", y le mnimo "0,5l" del nivel de agua "d" . Cerrar la tapa y colocar la jarra en la base de conexin Nota: Si no se cierra adecuadamente la tapa, la jarra no se apagar automticamente. Poner en marcha la jarra pulsando el interruptor I/0 "f". El indicador luminoso "e" se encender. La jarra se desconecta automticamente cuando el agua hierve. El indicador luminoso "e" se apagar. Tambin se puede desconectar la jarra utilizando el interruptor I/0 "f" en cualquier momento. Nota: La jarra tambin se desconecta cuando es retirada de la base de conexin. Retirar la jarra de la base de alimentacin y verter el agua caliente. Nota: Debido a su funcionamiento, parte del agua puede salir por las aberturas de salida situadas en la base de la jarra y rebosar por el borde de la base de conexin. Esto es normal y no plantea ningn riesgo. Para volver a conectar la jarra hay que dejarla enfriar durante, aproximadamente, 30 segundos.

3. USAR PARA EL FIN PREVISTO

Este aparato debe ser utilizado nicamente para calentar y hervir agua para uso domstico. No verter leche, sopa, caf o t, etc. en la jarra. El fabricante declina toda responsabilidad por daos provocados por un uso inapropiado, un funcionamiento errneo o por reparaciones realizadas por personal no cualificado. La garanta tambin queda excluida en estos casos.

4. PRIMER USO
Antes de utilizar el hervidor por primera vez o despus de un largo perodo de tiempo sin utilizarlo, llenar el hervidor hasta le nivel mximo, hervir el agua y tirarla. Repetir el proceso 2 tres veces siguiendo los pasos indicados en el punto siguiente.

6. SEGURIDAD
El hervidor est equipado con un dispositivo de seguridad trmico que lo protege contra el sobrecalentamiento si se queda sin agua. Si esto ocurre, el hervidor desconectar automticamente. Desenchufar el aparato de la red, sacar la jarra de la base de conexin y esperar a que se enfre durante unos minutos.

7. LIMPIEZA Y MANTENIMIENTO
Retirar la jarra de la base de alimentacin y dejar que se enfre antes de proceder a su limpieza. Desconectar el enchufe de la red. No sumergir el aparato ni la base de alimentacin en agua ni usar detergentes corrosivos ni abrasivos. Limpiar la jarra y la base de conexin con un pao hmedo. Enjuagar el interior de la jarra con agua. Limpieza del filtro Antes de retirar el filtro de impurezas, retirar en primer lugar la jarra de la base de conexin y dejar que se enfre. No retirar el filtro cuando la jarra est todava caliente. Para sacar el filtro tirar de l hacia arriba (fig. 3). Realizar una comprobacin peridica para ver si existen partculas en el filtro. Enjuagar el filtro en agua corriente y utilizar un cepillo suave si es necesario Al colocar el filtro, comprobar que est situado adecuadamente en su gua. Introducir totalmente el filtro en la jarra. Nota: No dejar el filtro suelto en la jarra.

Repetir esta operacin varias veces antes de utilizar su hervidor de nuevo.

9. INFORMACIN PARA LA CORRECTA GESTIN DE LOS RESIDUOS DE APARATOS ELCTRICOS Y ELECTRNICOS

Al final de la vida til del aparato, ste no debe eliminarse mezclado con los residuos domsticos generales. Puede entregarse, sin coste alguno, en centros especficos de recogida, diferenciados por las administraciones locales, o distribuidores que faciliten este servicio. Eliminar por separado un residuo de electrodomstico, significa evitar posibles consecuencias negativas para el medio ambiente y la salud, derivadas de una eliminacin inadecuada, y permite un tratamiento, y reciclado de los materiales que lo componen, obteniendo ahorros importantes de energa y recursos. Para subrayar la obligacin de colaborar con una recogida selectiva, en el producto aparece el marcado que se muestra como advertencia de la no utilizacin de contenedores tradicionales para su eliminacin. Para mas informacin, ponerse en contacto con la autoridad local o con la tienda donde adquiri el producto.

8. DESCALCIFICACIN
Dependiendo de la dureza del agua, es posible que en la base interna del hervidor se formen depsitos o incrustaciones de cal resultantes de numerosas ebulliciones y que pueden afectar al funcionamiento de su hervidor. Si estos depsitos de cal no se eliminan pueden afectar permanentemente al funcionamiento de su hervidor Esta cal se puede eliminar con cualquier descalcificador disponible en el mercado. Seguir las instrucciones de uso del fabricante Repetir el proceso de descalcificacin si la jarra presenta muchas calcificaciones. Posteriormente, enjuagar el aparato varias veces en agua limpia y, a continuacin, volver a hervir con agua limpia que deber ser desechada.

Se for necessria uma extenso, utilize unicamente um cabo com ligao terra com uma seco transversal mnima de 1,5 mm2

Instrues de segurana ao ligar o aparelho A segurana elctrica deste aparelho garante-se unicamente no caso de estar ligado a uma ligao terra eficaz, tal como o exigem as normas vigentes de segurana elctrica. Em caso de dvida dirija-se a pessoal profissionalmente qualificado. Verifique se a tenso da rede domstica corresponde indicada no aparelho. Ligue o aparelho unicamente a uma tenso alternada. Faa uma reviso peridica do estado do cabo. No utilize nenhum aparelho com o cabo ou a ficha danificados. Se

Instrues de segurana ao utilizar o aparelho No deixe o aparelho desatendido enquanto estiver em funcionamento e mantenha-o fora do alcance das crianas! As pessoas com problemas no sistema nervoso no devem usar o aparelho quando esto sozinhas, para evitar qualquer perigo. No ligue o jarro sem gua ou com pouca gua. A base de ao inoxidvel fica descolorada e pode ser danificada se utilizar sem gua. Ateno: evite o contacto com o vapor do bico do jarro. No abra a tampa quando a gua estiver a ferver. No encha o jarro por cima da indicao "max" para evitar salpicos quando a gua comear a ferver. No ponha o jarro a trabalhar com um nvel de gua inferior ao indicado "0,5l"

 Ateno: Quando o aparelho estiver em funcionamento, o jarro alcana temperaturas muito elevadas e existe risco de queimaduras. Utilize unicamente a asa para verter a gua. Instrues de segurana para a limpeza e o manuteno Antes de qualquer operao de manuteno ou limpeza, desligue o aparelho da tomada e espere que arrefea. No puxe o cabo ao retirar a ficha da tomada. No o desligue com as mos hmidas. Como proteco contra as descargas elctricas, no meta o jarro, nem a base de ligao, nem o cabo, nem a ficha em gua ou em qualquer outro lquido. No meta o aparelho na mquina de lavar loua. Respeite as instrues de descalcificao.

5. FUNCIONAMENTO
Seleccione o comprimento mnimo necessrio do cabo para ligar o aparelho tomada e enrole o resto do cabo no alojamento da base de ligao "g". Passe o cabo por uma das ranhuras e ligue rede. Abra a tampa, empurrando o boto de abertura "b" (fig. 2) para a frente. Encha o jarro com gua. O nvel de gua tem de estar entre o mximo, "max", e o mnimo "0,5l" do nvel de gua "d" . Feche a tampa e coloque o jarro na base de ligao) Nota: Se no se fechar a tampa correctamente, o jarro no se apagar automaticamente. Ponha o jarro a trabalhar premindo o interruptor I/0 "f". Acende-se o indicador luminoso "e". O jarro desliga-se automaticamente quando a gua ferver. Apaga-se o indicador luminoso "e". Tambm se pode desligar o jarro utilizando o interruptor I/0 "f" em qualquer momento. Nota: O jarro tambm se desliga quando retirado da base de ligao. Retire o jarro da base de alimentao e verta a gua quente. Nota: Devido ao funcionamento, parte da gua pode sair pelas aberturas de sada situadas na base do jarro e entornar-se sobre o rebordo da base de ligao. Isto normal e no representa nenhum risco. Para voltar a ligar o jarro deve-se deixar arrefecer durante, aproximadamente, 30 segundos.

3. UTILIZE PARA O FIM PREVISTO

Este aparelho deve ser unicamente utilizado para aquecer e ferver gua para uso domstico. No utilize leite, sopa, caf ou ch, etc. no jarro. O fabricante declina qualquer responsabilidade por danos provocados por uma utilizao indevida, um funcionamento errado ou por reparaes realizadas por pessoal no qualificado. A garantia tambm fica anulada nestes casos.

4. PRIMEIRA UTILIZAO
Antes de utilizar o fervedor pela primeira vez ou depois de um longo perodo de tempo sem o utilizar, encha o fervedor at ao nvel mximo, ferva a gua e deite-a fora. Repita o processo duas ou trs vezes seguindo os passos indicados no ponto seguinte.

6. SEGURANA
O fervedor est equipado com um dispositivo de segurana trmico que o protege contra o excesso de aquecimento se ficar sem gua. Se isto acontecer, o fervedor desliga-se automaticamente. Desligue o aparelho da rede, retire o jarro da base de ligao e espere a que arrefea durante alguns minutos.

7. LIMPEZA E MANUTENO
Retire o jarro da base de alimentao e deixe que arrefea antes de o limpar. Desligue a ficha da tomada de parede. No coloque o aparelho ou a base de alimentao em gua nem utilize detergentes corrosivos nem abrasivos. Limpe o jarro e a base de ligao com um pano hmido. Seque o interior do jarro com gua. Limpeza do filtro Antes de retirar o filtro de impurezas, retire em primeiro lugar o jarro da base de ligao e deixe que arrefea. No retire o filtro quando o jarro ainda estiver quente. Para retirar o filtro puxe-o para cima (Fig. 3). Verifique periodicamente se existem partculas no filtro. Enxague o filtro em gua da torneira e utilize uma escova suave se for necessrio Ao colocar o filtro, verifique se est correctamente situado na sua guia. Introduza totalmente o filtro no jarro. Nota: No deixe o filtro solto no jarro.

9. INFORMAO PARA A GESTO CORRECTA DOS RESDUOS DE APARELHOS ELCTRICOS E ELECTRNICOS

No fim da sua vida til, o produto no deve ser eliminado juntamente com os resduos urbanos. Pode ser depositado nos centros especializados de recolha diferenciada das autoridades locais ou, ento, nos revendedores que forneam este servio. Eliminar separadamente um electrodomstico permite evitar possveis consequncias negativas para o ambiente e para a sade pblica resultantes de uma eliminao inadequada, alm de que permite recuperar os materiais constituintes para, assim, obter uma importante poupana de energia e de recursos. Para sublinhar a obrigao de colaborar com uma recolha selectiva, no produto aparece a marcao que se apresenta como advertncia da no utilizao de contentores tradicionais para a sua eliminao. Para mais informaes, contactar a autoridade local ou a loja onde adquiriu o produto.

8. DESCALCIFICAO
Dependendo da dureza da gua, possvel que na base interna do fervedor se formem depsitos ou incrustaes de cal provocadas pelas diversas ebulies e que possam afectar o funcionamento do fervedor. Se estes depsitos de cal no forem eliminados podem afectar permanentemente o funcionamento do fervedor Esta cal pode ser eliminada com qualquer descalcificador disponvel no mercado. Siga as instrues de utilizao do fabricante Repita o processo de descalcificao se o jarro apresentar muitas calcificaes. Posteriormente, enxage o aparelho vrias vezes em gua limpa e, a seguir, volte a ferver com gua limpa que dever ser tirada. Repita esta operao vrias vezes antes de utilizar novamente o fervedor.

If an extension lead is required, use only an earthed cable with a conductor cross-section of at least 1.5 mm2!

2. FOR YOUR SAFETY!

The Instructions for Use contain important notes on safety and the information required for proper operation of the appliance! Read the instructions in full, keep them in a safe place and pass them on to any subsequent owner. All safety instructions are always intended for your own safety! Safety instructions when connecting the appliance This appliance complies with the recognised rules of technology and the pertinent safety regulations for electrical appliances! If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or its service agent or a similarly qualified person in order to avoid any danger. The voltage of the power source must be the same as specified on the nameplate! Connect the appliance only to AC current and to a socket with earthing contact. Do not pull the cable over sharp edges, clamp it into place or allow it to

Safety instructions when operating the appliance Never leave the appliance unattended during operation and keep it out of the reach of children! Use the appliance only for its intended purpose! Persons with nervous disorders should never use the appliance without accompanying person in order to avoid any danger. Never switch on the kettle if there is no water in it. The stainless steel base becomes discoloured and could be damaged if the kettle is used when there is no water in it. Warning! Risk of scalding! Hot steam ejected by the kettle can cause scalding. Observe the maximum filling level. Do not open the lid while the water is boiling. Warning! Danger of burns! The metal kettle gets very hot when in use. Contact with the skin can cause burns! Never fill the kettle beyond the maximum filling level! If the kettle is overfilled boiling water may be ejected! The appliance becomes hot during operation - this is normal! Only ever use the handle to pour out the water! Safety instructions for cleaning and maintenance Neither the appliance nor the power base can be opened.

 Always remove the kettle from the power base and allow it to cool down if faults occur during operation or for cleaning and maintenance! Disconnect the plug from the mains! Do not use the cable to pull on the plug or pull the plug out of the socket when hands are wet! Warning! Danger of electric shock or short-circuit! Protect the appliance and the power base from dampness. Never put them into the dishwasher! Never immerse them in water! Observe the instructions for de-scaling!

4. PUTTING INTO OPERATION

Filling with water To open the lid, push the lid opener "b"forwards, the lid will snap up (fig. 2). Note The lid is opened with a spring mechanism. Ensure that the lid does not hit any part of the body. Open the lid and fill the kettle while the lid is open. Check the filling level on the water level gauge "d". Note the maximum filling level! Note If the kettle was accidentally started empty, the safety cut-out will automatically switch it off. In this case you should remove the kettle from the power base and allow it to cool down for a few minutes. Make sure that the kettle has been filled with an adequate amount of water before using it again. Switching on the kettle Close the lid. The safety locking lid must lock into place. Connect the power base to the mains and position the kettle on the power base. Note If the lid is not properly closed, the kettle will not shut off automatically. Switch on the kettle at the ON/OFF switch "f" - the red heating control lamp "e" lights up. Note The ON/OFF switch only operates when the kettle is located on the power base. Warning! Risk of scalding! Never open or remove the lid during operation. Switching off the kettle The kettle switches off automatically when the water boils - the red heating control lamp "e" goes off. However, you can also switch the kettle off using the ON/OFF switch "f" at all times. Note The kettle also switches off automatically when it is removed from the power base.

3. USE IN ACCORDANCE WITH PURPOSE

The appliance may only be used to heat and boil water. Never put milk, soup, coffee or tea, etc., into the kettle. No liability is accepted for any damage resulting from use for other purposes, faulty operation or amateur repairs. Guarantee services are also excluded in such cases. The appliance is not intended for catering purposes! Operating the appliance for the first time Before using the kettle for the first time, fill it up to the maximum level and boil at least two lots of water. Rinse the kettle out with cold water each time between boiling up these two lots of water. Method: Adjust the required length of cable onthe power base "g". Wind any cable not required onto the cable winder. Guide the cable through one of the three recesses. Connect the power base "g" according to instructions (observe the safety instructions). Put the appliance into operation (see"Putting into operation").

Switching the kettle back on again The kettle can be switched back on again after being allowed to cool down for approx. 30 seconds.

8. DE-SCALING
The kettle must be descaled regularly. At the latest, the kettle should be descaled when the time required to boil water is markedly longer or if it cuts out too soon while heating the water. Method: Fill the kettle up the maximum filling level. Close the lid. The safety lid must click into place. Connect the power base to the mains and put the kettle on the power base. Switch on the kettle. The kettle switches off automatically once it has boiled the water. Use any standard descaler (follow the instructions for use given by the maker). Allow the descaling agent to take effect for at least 30 minutes. Afterwards, rinse out the appliance several times with clean water and then boil again with clean water which should then be poured away. Repeat the process if the kettle is heavily scaled.

5. POURING OUT THE WATER

Remove the kettle from the power base and pour out the hot water. Note As a result of its functioning, some water can condense out of the outlet openings in the base of the kettle and run out over the edge of the power base. This is normal and is perfectly harmless. If the kettle is returned to the power base, any water left in it will only heat up if the kettle is switched on again.

6. REMOVE SCALE FILTER

Before removing the scale filter, first remove the kettle from the power base and allow to cool down. Never remove the scale filter while the kettle is still hot or still full of water. Simply pull the scale filter upwards (fig. 3). When replacing the filter, ensure that the scale filter is located properly in its guide. Press the scale filter down fully into the body. Note Never leave the scale filter loose in the kettle.

7. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Remove the kettle from the power base and allow it to cool down each time before cleaning. Disconnect the plug from the mains. 5. FONCTIONNEMENT DE LAPPAREIL
Librer la moindre longueur ncessaire de cordon pour brancher lappareil la prise de secteur et enroule le reste du cordon dans lemplacement prvu cet effet, situ sur le socle g. Faire passer le cordon dans lune des rainures et brancher lappareil au secteur. Soulever le couvercle, en appuyant vers lavant sur la touche douverture b (fig 2).. Remplir deau la verseuse. Le niveau deau doit se situer entre le maximum, "max", et le minimum, 0,5l de lindicateur de niveau deau d. Refermer le couvercle et dposer la verseuse sur son socle. Note: Si le couvercle nest pas bien ferm, la verseuse steindra automatiquement. Mettre en marche la verseuse en appuyant sur linterrupteur I/0 f. Le tmoin lumineux e sallumera. La bouilloire sarrte automatiquement ds lbullition atteinte et le tmoin lumineux e steint. Il est possible galement darrter, en tout moment, la bouilloire en appuyant sur la touche I/0 f. Note: La verseuse sarrte automatiquement galement ds linstant o elle est spare du socle. Retirer la verseuse du socle et verser leau chaude . Note: Il arrive parfois quun peu deau de la verseuse en fonctionnement scoule, travers les ouvertures situes au pied de la verseuse, sur le socle. Cest normal et cela nentrane aucun risque. Avant de remettre la verseuse nouveau en marche, la laisser refroidir environ 30 secondes.

3. UTILISER LAPPAREIL UNIQUEMENT AUX FINS AUXQUELLES IL EST DESTIN

Utiliser cet appareil uniquement pour chauffer et faire bouillir leau usage domestique. Ne verser dans la verseuse ni lait, ni soupe, ni caf, ni th, etc Le fabricant dcline toute responsabilit en cas de dommages provoqus par un usage inappropri, un fonctionnement erron ou en cas de rparations ralises par du personnel non-qualifi. 4. PREMIRE UTILISATION
Avant dutiliser la bouilloire pour la premire fois, ou aprs une longue priode dinutilisation, remplir la verseuse jusquau niveau maximum, porter leau bullition et la jeter. Rpter cette opration 2 ou 3 fois, conformment la dmarche mentionne au point ci-aprs.

6. SCURIT
Cette bouilloire est quipe dun dispositif de scurit thermique qui la protge contre tout risque de surchauffe, en cas de fonctionnement sans eau. La bouilloire

sarrte automatiquement, dans ce cas. Dbrancher alors lappareil, retirer la verseuse du socle et la laisser refroidir quelques minutes.

7. ENTRETIEN ET MAINTENANCE
Retirer la verseuse du socle et la laisser refroidir, avant de procder une quelconque opration dentretien. Dbrancher le socle du secteur. Ne jamais immerger lappareil ni le socle dans leau et ne pas utiliser de dtergents corrosifs ni abrasifs. Nettoyer la verseuse et le socle laide dun chiffon humide. Rincer lintrieur de la verseuse avec de leau. Nettoyage du filtre Avant dliminer les impurets du filtre, retirer la verseuse du socle et la laisser refroidir. Ne jamais retirer le filtre lorsque la verseuse est encore chaude. Extraire le filtre en tirant vers le haut (fig. 3). Vrifier priodiquement que le filtre soit bien propre, libre de particules. Rincer le filtre sous leau du robinet et, si ncessaire, utiliser une brosse douce. Veiller bien remettre en place le filtre, correctement embot. Introduire le filtre dans la verseuse jusquau fond. Note: Veiller bien emboter le filtre dans la verseuse.

Um Mgliche Gefahrensituationen zu vermeiden, drfen Personen, die an Erkrankungen des Nervensystems leiden, das Gert nur im Beisein einer weiteren Person benutzen. Schlieen Sie die Kanne nicht ohne bzw. mit wenig Wasser an. Die Edelstahlplatte verfrbt sich und kann bei Benutzung ohne Wasser Schaden erleiden. Achtung: Achten Sie darauf, nicht mit dem heien Dampf in Berhrung zu kommen, der aus dem Ausguss der

Kanne austritt. ffnen Sie den Deckel nicht, wenn das Wasser kocht. Fllen Sie die Kanne nur bis zu der Markierung "Max.", um das Spritzen des Wassers beim Kochen zu vermeiden. Die Kanne darf nur in Betrieb genommen werden, nachdem Sie mit Wasser bis mindestens zur 0,5 l- Marke gefllt wurde. Achtung: Wenn das Gert in Betrieb ist, wird die Kanne sehr hei und es besteht Verbrennungsgefahr. Fassen Sie die Kanne zum Ausgieen des Wassers stets am Griff an. Sicherheitshinweise zur Reinigung und Instandhaltung Bevor Sie das Gert reinigen oder Instandhaltungsmanahmen vornehmen, unterbrechen Sie bitte den Netzanschluss und warten Sie, bis die Kanne abgekhlt ist. Ziehen Sie den Stecker nicht am Kabel aus der Steckdose. Berhren Sie Kabel und Stecker nicht mit feuchten Hnden. 4. ERSTMALIGE BENUTZUNG
Bevor Sie den Wasserkocher zum ersten Mal benutzen bzw. nachdem er ber einen lngeren Zeitraum nicht benutzt wurde, fllen Sie ihn bitte bis zur Maximalmarkierung mit Wasser, bringen dieses zum Kochen und gieen es dann weg. Wiederholen Sie diesen Prozess zwei oder drei Mal. Befolgen Sie dabei die Hinweise des nachfolgenden Punktes.

5. INBETRIEBNAHME
Beachten Sie beim Anschluss des Gertes an die Steckdose die geforderte minimale Kabellnge und wickeln Sie das brige Kabel in der Aufnahme am Anschlusssockel "g" auf. Fhren Sie das Kabel durch eine der Ritzen und schlieen Sie es ans Netz. ffnen Sie den Deckel, indem Sie die den Knopf "b" nach vorn schieben(abb. 2). Fllen Sie die Kanne mit Wasser. Die Menge muss dabei zwischen der Maximalmarkierung und dem Minimum von "0,5l" liegen "d" . Schlieen Sie den Deckel und stellen Sie die Kanne auf den Anschlusssockel Anmerkung: Wird der Deckel nicht korrekt geschlossen, schaltet die Kanne nicht automatisch aus. Schalten Sie den Wasserkocher nun ein, indem Sie den Ein-/Ausschalter I/0 "f" bettigen. Die Betriebsleuchte "e" schaltet ein. Die Kanne schaltet automatisch ab, wenn das Wasser kocht. Die Leuchtanzeige "e" erlischt. Es ist ebenfalls mglich, die Kanne jederzeit mit Hilfe des Schalters I/0 "f" auszuschalten. Anmerkung: Beim Entnehmen der Kanne von der Anschlussplatte schaltet diese ebenfalls ab. Entnehmen Sie die Kanne von der Anschlussplatte und gieen Sie das heie Wasser aus. 3. BENUTZUNG NUR ZUM VORGESEHENEN ZWECK

Dieses Gert darf nur zum Erhitzen und Kochen von Wasser im Rahmen des huslichen Gebrauchs benutzt werden. Gieen Sie niemals Milch, Suppen, Kaffee oder Tee, etc. in die Kanne. Der Hersteller bernimmt keine Haftung fr Schden, die aus unsachgemer Handhabung, falscher Bedienung oder Reparaturen entstehen, die von unqualifiziertem Personal ausgefhrt wurden. In den genannten Fllen findet die Garantie keine Anwendung.

8. ENTKALKEN
Je nach Hrtegrad des Wassers ist es mglich, dass sich auf dem Boden des Kochers durch hufiges Kochen Kalkablagerungen oder verkrustungen bilden, die die Funktion des Gerts beeintrchtigen knnen. Wenn diese Ablagerungen nicht entfernt werden, knnen Sie zu dauerhaften Beeintrchtigungen des Gerts fhren. Dieser Kalk kann mit einem beliebigen handelsblichen Entkalker entfernt werden. Befolgen Sie dabei die Anweisungen des jeweiligen Herstellers. Wiederholen Sie den Entkalkungsprozess, wenn die Kanne stark verkalkt ist. Splen Sie das Gert dann mehrmals mit sauberem Wasser aus. Erhitzen Sie dann sauberes Wasser und gieen Sie es anschlieend weg. Wiederholen Sie diesen Vorgang mehrmals, bevor Sie den Wasserkocher erneut benutzen.

6. SICHERUNGEN
Der Wasserkocher ist mit einer thermischen Sicherheitsvorrichtung ausgestattet, die das Gert gegen berhitzungen schtzt, sollte sich kein Wasser mehr in der Kanne befinden. Sollte dieser Fall auftreten, schaltet der Kocher automatisch ab. Unterbrechen Sie danach den Netzanschluss, entnehmen Sie die Kanne und lassen Sie das Gert einige Minuten abkhlen.

7. REINIGUNG UND INSTANDHALTUNG

Entnehmen Sie die Kanne von der Anschlussplatte und warten Sie, bis sie abgekhlt ist, bevor Sie sie reinigen. Unterbrechen Sie den Netzanschluss. Tauchen Sie das Gert oder die Anschlussplatte nicht in Wasser und verwenden Sie keine korrosiven oder scheuernden Reinigungsmittel. Reinigen Sie die Kanne und die Anschlussplatte mit einem feuchten Tuch. Splen Sie die Kanne mit Wasser aus. Reinigen des Filters Bevor Sie den Schmutzfilter herausnehmen, entnehmen Sie bitte zunchst die Kanne vom Anschlusssockel und warten Sie, bis diese abgekhlt ist. Entfernen Sie den Filter nicht, solange die Kanne noch hei ist. Ziehen Sie den Filter zum Herausnehmen leicht nach hinten (Abb. 3). berprfen Sie den Filter regelmig auf Schmutzpartikel. Splen Sie ihn unter flieendem Wasser aus und benutzen Sie zum Reinigen ggf. eine weiche Brste. Beim Einsetzen des Filters prfen Sie bitte, dass dieser richtig in seinen

Istruzioni di sicurezza per l'uso dell'apparecchio Non lasciare l'apparecchio incustodito mentre in funzionamento e mantenerlo fuori dalla portata dei bambini! Le persone con disturbi del sistema nervoso non devono usare l'apparecchio da sole, allo scopo di evitare qualsiasi pericolo. 5. CONNESSIONE
Lasciare la lunghezza minima di cavo necessaria per collegare l'apparecchio alla presa di corrente ed avvolgere il resto del cavo nell'apposto vano sulla base di alimentazione "g". Fare passare il cavo in una delle scanalature e collegarlo alla presa. Aprire il coperchio, spingendo in avanti il pulsante di apertura "b" (fig. 2). Riempire la brocca d'acqua. Il livello dell'acqua deve essere compreso tra il massimo, "max", e il minimo "0,5 l" dell'indicatore di livello "d". Chiudere il coperchio ed inserire la brocca sulla base di alimentazione Nota: Se non si chiude bene il coperchio, il bollitore non si spegne automaticamente. Mettere in funzionamento il bollitore premendo l'interruttore I/0 "f". Si accende la spia luminosa "e" . Il bollitore si disinserisce automaticamente quando l'acqua bolle. Si accende la spia luminosa "e". Si pu anche disinserire in qualsiasi momento il bollitore per mezzo dell'interruttore I/0 "f" . Nota: Il bollitore si disinserisce anche quando la brocca viene rimossa dalla base di alimentazione. Rimuovere quindi la brocca dalla base di alimentazione e versare l'acqua calda. Nota: Durante il funzionamento, un po' d'acqua pu fuoriuscire dalle apposite aperture situate sulla base della brocca e quindi dal bordo della base di alimentazione. Questo normale e non comporta alcun rischio. Prima di usare d nuovo il bollitore, occorre lasciarlo raffreddare per circa 30 secondi.

3. USARE L'APPARECCHIO ESCLUSIVAMENTE PER LO SCOPO PREVISTO

Questo apparecchio deve essere usato esclusivamente per riscaldare e fare bollire acqua per uso domestico. Non versare latte, brodo, caff o the, ecc. nella brocca. Il costruttore declina qualunque responsabilit per danni provocati da un uso inadeguato, dall'errato funzionamento o da riparazioni eseguite da personale non qualificato. 4. PRIMO USO DELL'APPARECCHIO

Prima di usare il bollitore per la prima volta o dopo un lungo periodo di tempo di inattivit, riempire la brocca fino al livello massimo, fare bollire l'acqua e buttarla via. Ripetere questa operazione 2 o 3 volte seguendo le indicazioni del punto successivo.

6. SICUREZZA
Il bollitore dotato di un dispositivo di sicurezza termico che lo protegge dal surriscaldamento se resta senz'acqua. In tal caso il bollitore si disinserisce

automaticamente. Disinserire la spina dalla presa di corrente, estrarre la brocca dalla base di alimentazione e attendere che si raffreddi per qualche minuto.

7. PULIZIA E MANUTENZIONE
Rimuovere la brocca dalla base di alimentazione e lasciarla raffreddare prima di effettuarne la pulizia. Disinserire la spina dalla presa. Non immergere l'apparecchio n la base di alimentazione in acqua e non usare detergenti corrosivi o abrasivi. Pulire la brocca e la base di alimentazione con uno straccetto umido. Risciacquare l'interno della brocca con un po' d'acqua. Pulizia del filtro Prima di rimuovere il filtro, togliere innanzitutto la brocca dalla base di alimentazione e lasciarla raffreddare se fosse necessario. Non rimuovere il filtro quando la brocca ancora calda. Per estrarre il filtro, tirarlo verso l'alto (fig. 3). Eseguire una verifica periodica per vedere se nel filtro si sono accumulate particelle. Risciacquare il filtro in acqua del corrente e, se necessario, usare una spazzola morbida Per rimettere a posto il filtro, verificare che sia ben inserito nell'apposita guida. Inserire quindi fino in fondo il filtro nella brocca. Nota: Non lasciare il filtro allentato nella brocca.

9. INFORMAZIONI PER LA CORRETTA GESTIONE DEI RESIDUI DI APPARECCHIATURE ELETTRICHE ED ELETTRONICHE

Alla fine della sua vita utile il prodotto non deve esser smaltito insieme ai rifiuti urbani. 8. DECALCIFICAZIONE
A seconda della durezza dell'acqua, dopo numerose bolliture possibile che sulla base interna del bollitore si formino depositi o incrostazioni di calcare che possono avere una ripercussione negativa sul funzionamento del bollitore. Laat personen met zenuwstelselstoornissen het toestel niet zonder toezicht gebruiken om elk gevaar te voorkomen. Sluit de kan niet aan zonder of met weinig water. De roestvrij stalen steun kan verkleuren en beschadigd worden in geval van gebruik zonder water. Opgelet: vermijd contact met de hete damp die uit de schenktuit van de kan komt. Open het deksel niet wanneer het water kookt. Vul de kan niet boven het merkteken max om spatten te voorkomen wanneer het water begint te koken. Zet de kan niet aan als het waterpeil lager is dan het merkteken 0,5 l.

2. VEILIGHEIDSVOORSCHRIFTEN
De gebruiksaanwijzingen bevatten belangrijke waarschuwingen over uw veiligheid, samen met de nodige informatie voor de goede werking van het toestel. Lees de aanwijzingen aandachtig en bewaar ze voor raadpleging in de toekomst. Als u dit toestel aan iemand anders geeft, vergeet dan deze handleiding niet De elektrische veiligheid van het toestel wordt enkel gewaarborgd indien het is aangesloten op een geschikt aardingssysteem zoals voorzien in de geldende veiligheidsvoorschriften. De fabrikant is niet aansprakelijk voor schade ten gevolge van een gebrek aan aarding. Raadpleeg in geval van twijfel bevoegd beroepspersoneel. Controleer voordat u het toestel gebruikt of de spanning van uw thuisnet overeenstemt met de spanning die is aangegeven op het toestel. Ga regelmatig de staat van de kabel na. Gebruik geen enkel elektrisch toestel met een versleten kabel of stekker, wanneer het

 Opgelet: Wanneer het toestel aan staat, wordt de kan erg heet en bestaat het risico van verbranding. Gebruik enkel de handgreep om het water te schenken. Veiligheidsaanwijzingen voor reiniging en onderhoud Trek de stekker van het toestel uit het stopcontact en wacht tot de kan is afgekoeld voordat u het toestel reinigt of onderhoudt. Trek om de stekker uit het stopcontact te trekken nooit aan de kabel. Houd de kan, het aansluitblok, de kabel of de stekker nooit onder water of andere vloeistoffen om elektrische schokken te voorkomen. Het toestel is niet geschikt voor de vaatwasmachine. Neem de ontkalkingsaanwijzingen in acht.

3. BEDOELD GEBRUIK VAN HET TOESTEL

Dit toestel mag enkel worden gebruikt om water op te warmen en te koken voor thuisgebruik. Giet geen melk, soep, koffie of thee, enz. in de kan. De fabrikant weigert alle aansprakelijkheid voor schade als gevolg van ongeschikt gebruik, een foute werking of reparatie door niet bevoegd personeel. In dergelijke gevallen vervalt de garantie.

4. EERSTE GEBRUIK
Vul de waterkoker tot het maximum peil, kook het water en giet het weg voordat u de waterkoker voor de eerste keer gebruikt of wanneer u de waterkoker lang niet hebt gebruikt. Herhaal deze bewerking 2 of meerdere keren en volg hierbij de passen die worden beschreven in het volgende punt.

stopcontact te steken en rol de rest van de kabel op in het opbergvak van het aansluitblok g. Haal de kabel door een van de gleuven en steek de stekker in het stopcontact. Open het deksel door de openingsknop b vooruit te duwen (afb. 2). Vul de kan met water. Het waterpeil moet tussen de merktekens max en 0,5l van het waterpeilvenster d liggen. Sluit het deksel en plaats de kan op het aansluitblok. Opgelet: als het deksel niet goed sluit, wordt de kan niet automatisch uitgeschakeld. Zet de kan aan door op de AAN/UIT knop f te drukken. Het controlelampje e licht op. De kan wordt automatisch uitgeschakeld wanneer het water kookt. Het controlelampje e gaat uit. U kunt de kan ook op elk ogenblik uitschakelen aan de hand van de AAN/UIT knop f. Opmerking: de kan wordt ook uitgeschakeld wanneer u deze van het aansluitblok haalt. Haal de kan van het aansluitblok en schenk het warme water. Opmerking: Omwille van de werking kan een deel van het water door de uitgangsopeningen op de basis van de kan lopen en langs de rand van het aansluitblok lopen. Dit is normaal en houdt geen enkel risico in. Om de kan opnieuw aan te sluiten, moet u de kan ongeveer 30 seconden laten afkoelen.

6. VEILIGHEID
De waterkoker is uitgerust met een thermische beveiliging om oververhitting te vermijden wanneer het water op is. In dergelijk geval wordt de waterkoker automatisch uitgeschakeld. Trek de stekker uit het stopcontact, haal de kan van het aansluitblok en laat enkele minuten afkoelen.

7. REINIGING EN ONDERHOUD
Haal de kan van het aansluitblok en laat afkoelen voordat u het toestel reinigt. Trek de stekker uit het stopcontact. Houd het toestel of het aansluitblok niet onder water en gebruik geen bijtende afwasmiddelen of schuurproducten. Reinig de kan en het aansluitblok met een vochtige doek. Spoel de binnenkant van de kan met water. Reiniging van de filter Haal voordat u de zuiveringsfilter verwijdert eerst de kan van het aansluitblok en laat afkoelen. Verwijder de filter niet wanneer de kan nog warm is. Trek de filter omhoog om deze te verwijderen (afb. 3). Controleer de filter regelmatig om na te gaan of deze vuil is. Spoel de filter met stromend water en gebruik indien nodig een zachte borstel. Controleer wanneer u de filter opnieuw plaatst of deze juist past. Steek de filter helemaal in de kan. Opmerking: Zorg er voor dat de filter nooit los zit in de kan.

9. INFORMATIE VOOR DE JUISTE VERWERKING VAN AFGEDANKTE ELEKTRISCHE EN ELEKTRONISCHE TOESTELLEN

Op het einde van de levensduur van het toestel mag dit niet samen me het algemene huishoudafval worden weggegooid. U kunt het gratis naar hiertoe bestemde en door de plaatselijke overheid aangewezen verzamelpunten of naar verdelers die deze dienst verlenen, brengen. Een afgedankt elektrisch huishoudtoestel afzonderlijk verwerken, betekent eventuele negatieve gevolgen vermijden voor het milieu en de gezondheid ten gevolge van een ongepaste verwerking. Bovendien kunnen de materialen waaruit het toestel bestaat zo worden behandeld en hergebruikt, wat tot een aanzienlijke energie- en grondstoffenbesparing leidt. Om de verplichting tot medewerking met een selectieve afvalverwerking te benadrukken, bevat het product het merkteken dat er op wijst dat het toestel niet in traditionele afvalcontainers mag worden gegooid. Neem voor meer informatie contact op met de plaatselijke overheid of met de winkel waar u het product hebt gekocht.

8. ONTKALKING
Naargelang de hardheid van het water is het mogelijk dat er zich kalk vormt aan de binnenkant van de waterkoker als gevolg van herhaald gebruik. Dit kan de werking van uw waterkoker benvloeden. Als deze kalk niet wordt verwijderd, kan dit de werking van uw waterkoker permanent negatief benvloeden. U kunt de kalk verwijderen met eender welk ontkalkingsproduct dat beschikbaar is op de markt. Volg de gebruiksaanwijzingen van de fabrikant. Herhaal de ontkalking als de kan veel kalk bevat. Spoel nadien het toestel verscheidene keren met proper water, breng dan de kan met proper water aan de kook en giet dit water weg. Herhaal deze bewerking verscheidene
