Main project: GSM BASED PREPAID ENERGY METER.

Every month we can see a person standing in front of our house from

Electricity board whose duty is to read the energy meter/water meter and handover the bills to the owner of that house. This is nothing but meter reading. According to that reading we have to pay the bills. The main drawback of this system is that it is time consuming. To overcome this drawback we have come up with an idea and this idea will help the government and it will save the time of the employees working in these boards. In this project we are controlling several devices using GSM technology. If, you want ON/OFF a device you can give an instruction from mobile modem to microcontroller. For, mobile modem to microcontroller communication we are using serial communication. Whenever, we send an instruction to microcontroller, controller takes that instruction and processes the data and devices are ON/OFF according to that instruction.

Mini project: PC Based Device Control System.

In this project we are controlling several devices using PC. If, you want ON/OFF a device you can give an instruction from PC to microcontroller. For, PC to microcontroller communication we are using serial communication. Whenever, we send an instruction PC to microcontroller, controller takes that instruction and processes the data and devices are ON/OFF according to that instruction. Strengths
