Three Aspects 1. Positional sanctication 1 Corinthians 1:2-3 2 To the church of God that is in Corinth, to those who are sanctied in Christ Jesus, called to be saints, together with all those who in every place call on the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, both their Lord and ours: 3 Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

1 Corinthians 6:9-11 9 Do you not know that wrongdoers will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived! Fornicators, idolaters, adulterers, male prostitutes, sodomites, 10 thieves, the greedy, drunkards, revilers, robbersnone of these will inherit the kingdom of God. 11 And this is what some of you used to be. But you were washed, you were sanctied, you were justied in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and in the Spirit of our God. Hebrews 10:10 And it is by Gods will that we have been sanctied through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.

Three Aspects 2. Progressive sanctication 1 Peter 1:16 for it is written: Be holy, because I am holy. 2 Corinthians 7:1 Therefore, since we have these promises, dear friends, let us purify ourselves from everything that contaminates body and spirit, perfecting holiness out of reverence for God.

Jesus our example Galatians 4:9 My children, with whom I am again in labor until Christ is formed in you Ephesians 4:11-13 The gifts he gave were that some would be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, some pastors and teachers, 12 to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ, 13 until all of us come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to maturity, to the measure of the full stature of Christ.

sanctication
Three Aspects 3. Perfect sanctication 1 John 3:2-3 Dear friends, now we are children of God, and what we will be has not yet been made known. But we know that when Christ appears, we shall be like him, for we shall see him as he is. 3 All who have this hope in him purify themselves, just as he is pure.
