Salam Yang, i have not told about my experience at istanbul airport....we were a little bit lost initially.

So pls pay close attention to what Im about to tell so that u guys don't get confuse and lost. This is what u need to do upon arrival at Istanbul airport. 1st - Basically u'll arrived at about 6.00 am (local time).Ur next flight to ankara will be at 9.00 am..so u have about 3 hrs to check in for domestic flight to ankara... Keluar dari airplane go straight to pasport control counter, NOT transit counter ( to the right of visa counter and ATM machine). Normally u will see ramai org beratur...kalau tak silap ada more than ten counters..so beratur and go to counter written OTHER NATIONALITIES. Once u r cleared look for domestic flight sign board. Remember the sign board will actually lead u out of istanbul airport ( rasanya u akan nampak ramai org waiting with sign board)...don't panic ( Masih lagi dlm airport building). BTW keep ur keratan MAS boarding pass and luggage tag together..penting, coz pd luggage tag tu ada tulis info about ur next flight. 2nd - Just follow the domestic flight sign board. Roughly about 20 minutes walking or 500 m distance to domestic terminal. So, hand carry luggage jgn bawa byk sgt. Sampai di domestic terminal look for counter tulis TURKISH AIRLINE. Hand over ur pasport together with either lugage tag or e- ticket and don worry about ur big lugage as MAS has already organize it straight to Ankara. Look for the designated gate that has been printed in ur boarding pass..rasanya u ada masa at least one hour or more to hang around jika masa proses pasport clerarance tak ramai org. There will be a bus to carry all passengers to the airplane...REMEMBER to look at ur sit number coz sampai je kat aircraft, tangga pintu aircraft depan dan belakang akan dibuka..so if ur number start with small, use the front door and vice versa. Rasanya no 1 - 20 guna depan. At about 9 am the aircraft will take off. The journey took about 1 hour.

3rd - Sampai di Ankara airport ( the tricky part ) go to bagage claim terminal ( u need to use the escalator - going down) and check on the screen ur flight number. Guess what ? u will not find ur lugage there, why ?? coz MAS dah arranged ur luggage to be claim at international lugage claim terminal. Get urself tiga troli..each will cost 2TL. Go outside and by then i dah ada kat luar waiting for my favourite wife and kids...he he I hope this information will help u guys in finding ur ways.... I bagi information ni awal bukan ape..takut i lupa the process. Worst thing to do is i'll take a flight to istanbul and get the same flight with u back to ankara..but i believe u can manage it...bini askar, pegawai pulak tu. IMPORTANT things to do before leaving Malaysia 1. 2. Pls ensure to top up ur prepaid max..just in case to communicate with me if u Tukar duit Turkish Lira..RM 500 ( about 250 TL ) small change 10 TL, 20 TL 50
