RE: EXTENSION OF ADVERTISEMENT BOOKING DEADLINE: - INVITATION TO ADVERTISE IN DIRECTORY ON EXPORT OF CONSTRUCTION SERVICES Further to our circular reference no. MBAM/25/01/617 dated 4th October 2006 on Invitation to Advertise in Directory on Export of Construction Services, we wish inform that the deadline for submission of booking form has been extended to 1ST DECEMBER 2006. We are pleased to inform that further to the courtesy visit to YB Minister of Works, Malaysia held on 12 September 2006, there was a call by the Minister to MBAM to publish a directory which showcases overseas construction projects undertaken by MBAM members. This directory will serve as a marketing tool for the Minister as well as other construction related agencies such as CIDB, MATRADE, MIDA and PSDC to promote the Malaysian construction services in the global market during their missions abroad. This project is exclusively for members of MBAM with an initiative to compile and publish a directory containing members overseas construction project photographs with a brief description of the said project. In brief, this directory aims to promote export of Malaysian construction services and highlight to the international community that members of MBAM are competent and have good track record to undertake contracting businesses globally. Members may choose to advertise overseas project/s completed in the past or current on-going project/s. Each advertisement page is only allowed to publish a maximum of two projects with appropriate number of photographs to be included. Members, however, may take more pages, if the need arise. We, however recommend that a maximum of two photographs from different angle of the particular project to be included to avoid page congestion. On top of that, each advertiser will also receive one (1) only, complimentary advertorial page to include members company profile and other information. Copy of the sample page layout for advertisement and advertorial is attached for your perusal. For members who have yet to secure any overseas job but conducted market research abroad, we are pleased to invite your company to advertise in advertorial format at 50% off the advertisement rate. Members may take this opportunity to introduce and promote your construction services.
