2011 Binational Convention of the Federation of Philippine American Chambers of Commerce Bridging the Rivers of Change: Succeeding Economically

in the 21st Century

In the 21st century, one of the most important assets for a Filipino small business or organization is to have the ability to adapt and change with the environment around them. One of the goals we hope to achieve is to build a more inclusive Filipino community not just here in Portland but around the country and around the world and be able to connect to the mainstream business community. Doing business in todays economy is difficult and creating relationships such as these is one way we can support each other. At the FPACC Annual Convention & Trade Show, attendees will learn how to do business in a more efficient and effective way. With workshops focusing on: 1. Sustainability practices, 2. Conflict management, 3. Enhancing and developing your online presence, 4. Utilizing your local media, 5. Working and partnering with your local governments, and 6. Creating new business-to-business connections.
