Using rescue dogs from shelters, this contest recognizes the groomers ability to take on any challenge. The groomer will use his or her grooming expertise to create a clean, well-groomed dog, while handling them with compassion. The top three placements will not only win a cash prize, but the supplied dogs rescue organization will take home a cash donation. $5,900 Total Prizes 1st Place - $1,200 plus $1,200 donation to your rescue dogs organization 2nd Place - $1,000 plus $1,000 donation to your rescue dogs organization 3rd Place - $750 plus $750 donation to your rescue dogs organization

Best First-Time Competitor


This competition is open to anyone who is entered in an entry-level competition, and has indicated on his or her original competitor entry form that they have never competed in a groomTeam-sanctioned contest. The entry-level judge will choose the best firsttime competitor from each regular-class competition. each competitor chosen must return to the show ring thirty-minutes prior to the Best in Show awards. At that time the judge will then choose the winner of the Best First-Time Competitor award. The winner will receive an Oster Professional groomer Starter Kit, valued at $959. All first-time registered competitors will receive an Oster SuperSteel scissor, valued at over $100.
