Eikev - Shebrews Conference

This weeks Torah Portion, Eikev On the heel of, because covers Deuteronomy 7:12 11:25. It starts off with a very profound statement, it tells you why Yahweh will keep His covenant with you! Everything He does is based on covenants. We often refer to ourselves as the Bride of Messiah. This is all based on entering one of the greatest covenants there is- the marriage covenant! Our ketubah, marriage contract, is the Torah itself! As women, Shebrews, we have the unique role of being a living rehearsal of what the Bride of Messiah should be (how she should act and conduct herself). Portraying this example for the world to see, and also to give the men that as well will be part of this entity known as the Bride an example of what this truly means! Deuteronomy 7:12 If: Strongs #6118 eqeb consequence, because; it refers to a goal, end, or purpose to something Flipping this word, it forms the word bekah (#1235) a shekel (a shekel was brought every time the people were numbered as an atonement for you soul Exodus 30:15); from the root #1234 baqa to split, cleave, break open, divide The whole goal, the purpose of this Covenant is to bring atonement and offer a covering for the one who is split off and divided! The Covenant is all about making the 2 halves (Messiah and His Bride) one again, each being required to present themselves in order to be counted! Exodus 30:13 This they shall give, every one that passeth among them that are numbered, half a shekel after the shekel of the sanctuary: (a shekel [is] twenty gerahs:) an half shekel [shall be] the offering of Yahweh. Shekel: Strongs #8255 sheqel shekel; gematria = 430, the number of years Israel would be in bondage in Egypt. 20 = palm of the hand, sole of the foot, represents ownership When we offer ourselves as the shekel, it marks us as one who has come out of bondage, its a change of ownership. No longer are we slaves, but we now belong to our Husband! This shadow picture is played out in Rebekah who receives both her shekel and her atonement/covering! The first time the shekel is seen is in Genesis 24:22 And it came to pass, as the camels had done drinking, that the man took a golden earring of half a shekel weight, and two bracelets for her hands of ten [shekels] weight of gold; This is when Rebekah is chosen as the wife of Isaac.

Rebekah: Strongs #7259 Ribqah ensnarer, one who ensnares by her beauty; notice that it shares the same 2 letter root as the word for shekel! Bracelets: Strongs #6781 tsamiyd bracelet, cover (of a vessel) *The 1/2 shekel is atonement for your soul atonement is from the root kaphar to cover Without it we become like Numbers 19:15 And every open vessel, which hath no covering (tsamiyd) bound upon it, [is] unclean. Vessel: Strongs #3627 keliy article, vessel, implement, utensil; from #3615 kalah to be completed, finished, accomplished; the root of the word kallah Bride Outside of this atonement and covering of the Covenant we are an unclean bride (ownership has not changed, without it your still a slave in Egypt)! The way we accept and receive this covering is revealed within this verse: hearken to these judgments, and keep and do them. Judgments: Strongs #4941 mishpat judgment, justice, ordinance; from #8199 shaphat to judge, govern, vindicate, punish Breaking it down: ( Strongs #4851) drawn out; = mouth, but within this letter is seen the ( house or the bride) & the ( spark of life, the atom of creation) within it; = to surround, the serpent/snake, in paleo it looks like an X in a circle, the paleo Tav is written like an X as well, a picture of the covenant surrounded by the serpent *The covenant Yahweh makes with us is for the express purpose of drawing us out of the bondage weve been in by planting His seed/His spark of life within His bride that breaks the power of the serpent that attempts to cut you off from the Covenant! The root shaphat is spelled with the same letters (just a different order) as shataph (#7857) to wash, rinse, or to cleanse. Its also the same letters as taphash (#2954) to gross, inert, stupid, insensitive. It presents two possibilities of how these laws/mishpatim/Ketubah will affect us! 1) We can allow them to wash us, in effect cleansing us. 2) We can ignore the commands of YHVH and be insensitive to His calling! *The word taphash is only used in Psalm 119:70 showing this same analogy Their heart is as fat (taphash) as grease; but I delight in thy law. Delight: Strongs #8173 shaa 1 )to stroke, be smeared over, be blinded, to smear over the eyes 2) to sport, take delight in

Within the Hebrew language it paints a vivid picture of the Torah (these mishpatim) being smeared upon the eyes of those who were blind and now they see, and seeing they enter into this marriage covenant with delight! John 9:6 paints the same picture When he had thus spoken, he spat on the ground, and made clay of the spittle, and he anointed the eyes of the blind man with the clay *The bride brings the shekel when she is numbered. Numbered is paqad sharing the same 2 letter root as the word paqach to open the eyes! One has the letter = door & the other the = fenced off intimate place her eyes are opened to the door that leads to the intimate place! The intimate place is represented by the Garden of Eden (Garden of Delight) the Bride loses access because of the serpent, but the mishpatim break his control and authority off of her and because of that she can now see the door again! Its no coincidence that this is the 46th Torah Portion of the year and the 3rd portion of Deuteronomy. o 46 is the number of chromosomes we have that organizes our DNA! 46 = 23 + 23, the egg cell of the woman is 23 chromosomes and the sperm cell of the man is 23 chromosomes they are joined together to make 46 in order for life to be created! Its the same picture of the 2 shekels being joined together to become one and brings life to the Bride. If we keep our end of the Covenant it will cause our DNA to be restored! In Genesis 3, Adam & Eve eat of the fruit of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, another seed enters them (bringing another DNA) causing them to be in bondage to the serpent! But through the Covenant we have this promise of restoration and a covering. Etymologically the word chromosomes comes from the Greek word Khromo which is from the Hebrew word qaram covering, to spread over, to spread or lay something over o 3 = Hosea 6:2 After two days will he revive us: in the third day he will raise us up, and we shall live in his sight. Raise: Strongs #6965 quwm to rise, arise, stand up; used numerous times to describe how Yahweh would establish (quwm) His covenant with His people. o 3 = which is a picture of a hand catching a heel reference to the battle between the seed of the serpent and the seed of Yahweh (Gen. 3:15 it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel). It is the Messiah that will bruise the head of the serpent in the end, but throughout the scriptures we see examples of satans attempt to reverse these roles (Jacob & Esau notice the name of this Torah portion Eikev is connected to the name Jacob/Yaakov). When the DNA of the Bride is restored (when the seed of Yahweh is housed in her) she

is able to catch the heel of the serpent who would try to destroy her! This ties in with the bride offering herself as the shekel! Half: Strongs #4276 machatsiyth half, middle; contains the 3 letter root of #4272 machats to smite through, shatter, wound severely, to pierce Shekel: Strongs #8255 sheqel shekel Gematria = 430, same amount as the years spent in bondage in Egypt *Contains the 2 letter root = voice! By bringing the half shekel, we acknowledge the one that was pierced because of our deception in order to free us from bondage! And it is only upon bringing this offering (the Bride herself is supposed to be the half shekel the one broken off from Adam/Messiah) presenting herself a living sacrifice that we once again will hear the voice/qol walking in the cool of the day back in the Garden! Notice the 2 letter root of machatsiyth marrow where blood cells are formed, which contain DNA, the DNA of the Bride is repaired when she brings the half shekel, removing far from her the seed of the serpent! This statement in Deuteronomy is just as important for our days as it was for Israel when they were first told this, because it is in the end days (the 3rd day) that we now see this Covenant being restored and the Bride now finally understanding what it means to offer herself as this shekel. *Remember this is the 46th portion (DNA) 46 is the gematria of the name Elijah My God is Yahweh Malachi 4:5 Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of Yahweh. in other words before the day of judgment the DNA of the Bride would be restored via her Covenant!

Eikev & Yaakov

It is no coincidence that this portions name is closely related to the name Jacob. Jacob: Strongs #3290 Yaaqob heel holder Hes one who catches the heel when the serpent (Esau) attempts to crush him (the one who has the seed of Yahweh). *Jacob has one extra letter from Eikev 10 = ,a shekel is 20 gerahs, therefore a shekel is 10! It connects for us that Jacob becomes a

picture of the Bride of Messiah who offers herself as the shekel. Genesis 38:12 And he dreamed, and behold a ladder set up on the earth, and the top of it reached to heaven: and behold the angels of God ascending and descending on it. Ladder: Strongs #5551 cullam ladder; cognate of cillem ( Kleins Dictionary) to modulate/escalate music *Modulating music deals with changing from one key to another, in the Hebrew language every letter also has a musical note. The letter can be exchanged for the letter making the word tselem image; Genesis 1:26 And Yahweh said, let us make man in our image (tselem) What Jacob sees is a DNA helix/ladder that would restore his DNA transforming him into the image of Yahweh via the Hebrew language which houses and is the vehicle of the Word/Seed of Yahweh! And it points to Yahshua, the Word made flesh, that would come as the other shekel to be counted in order for us to be given a covering, an atonement! Zephaniah 3:17 Yahweh thy God in the midst of thee [is] mighty; he will save, he will rejoice over thee with joy; he will rest in his love, he will joy over thee with singing. Singing: Strongs #7440 rinnah ringing cry; from the root #7442 ranan to overcome, to cry out, to shout for joy, give a ringing cry We become over-comers and are saved by being conformed into His image, which happens as He sings the Hebrew language over us just as He did when He created the world in the first place! The word rinnah/singing is spelled with the same letters as #5104 nahar stream, river; from the root meaning to shine, beam, light, burn, or to flow, a stream. As Yahweh sings over the Bride it acts as living water cleansing her, mikvehing her, and restores to her His light which now burns and shines within her! Matthew 5:14 You are the light of the world Remember that in this Covenant relationship, both have a part to play (both present themselves Groom & Bride). So then not only does the Creator sing over us, but theres a requirement on our end as well to reciprocate this! Psalms 22:3 But thou [art] holy, [O thou] that inhabitest the praises of Israel. Inhabitest: Strongs #3427 yashab to dwell, remain, sit, to abide, to marry *When it says that Yahweh inhabits the praises of His people, its

connecting for us that as we sing to Him, it causes Him to dwell within our midst in this marriage relationship and in return sing over us! And as we sing to Him and He sings over us, our DNA changes and we become conformed into His image! Connecting all this to our physical bodies: o Up to 60% of the human body is water; the brain is 70% water, blood is 83% water remember the singing Yahweh does rinnah, spelled the same as nahar (river) o Science has proven that frequencies found in music affects the shape of water! Classical music (stays true to the musical scale) makes beautiful shapes, where other music distorts it. o When the Hebrew language is sung over our bodies, the water (making up the majority of our body, blood where our DNA is, and our brain) will be changed! Our mind is renewed, the Word heals our diseases, and it becomes evident that its the seed of Yahweh within us! This is why the keeping of the mishpat/judgments breaks off the power of the enemy/serpent! It transforms us!
