At Himaliyan Mystic Trails we offer an experience full of adventure as adventure is the way of life. We travel to offbeat places with spell binding beauty .We organise treks to the mysterious trails in the Himalayas and the Sahyadris and visit the exotic places which exists beyond luxuries. The idea is to be with nature, enjoy nature, and watch the animals, birds and insects in the wilderness. We visit many mountains and jungles. We also create an ecological awareness about the nature, to develop and preserve and to worship nature. We seek to do this by introducing more people to the world of mountains and jungles. So come join us for our Jungle safari, Day hike, Trekking in the Himalayas, cycling, nature trails, sight-seeing tours, Pilgrimage yatra and a lot more.

Current System Description:

Currently all records are maintained manually on paper. Details about the trek are distributed as pamphlets and brochures. Cash payment is done at the time of booking.

Limitations of current System: Lack of data security as there can be physical destruction of data. A lot of paper work maintained.

Proposed system: Information about Himaliyan Mystic Trails.. will be displayed on the web so that users can access it easily. Information about the upcoming events will be displayed on the website. Information about a particular trip will be displayed on a particular page. Customer details will be stored on the admin site and both the administrator. and the customer who has enquired will receive conformation Email.

Advantages of Proposed System:

The website will ease the access to various (required) information about Himaliyan Mystic Trails. Enquiry can be done easily online. Paper work is reduced. Tampering of data avoided, calculations done faster.

FEASIBILITY STUDY The website is completely automated which offers an easy user interface. Validations are implemented on user inputs to avoid invalid/false data.

Light weight web pages will make the website faster to navigate and will put less load on the server.

The system provides data security, better data storage and tampering of data is avoided. Feedback and enquiry are provided to ensure further improvements and clients satisfaction.

STAKE HOLDERS Miss Vidya Karkera is the stake holder for Himaliyan Mystic Trials I was approached by her as she wanted a website to advertise Himaliyan Mystic Trails She wanted a website which was automated, which would store and display details of trips and customer.

Fact finding Techniques


Several meetings in person and on phone were conducted for developing the website. Core information was sent via Email. Several Tours & Travelling website were visited to get an Idea For further development. Useful information was found on the internet.

Prototypes
At the start sketches were made to make the client understand the look of the website. Adobe Photoshop was used to create some templates with different colour combinations Prototype HTML pages were created using Dreamweaver Development was then continued in Microsoft Visual Studio 2008.
