Recruited to develop, align and lead the strategic direction of HR and to be a strategic partner of senior leadership of a start up, privately owned 70 bed acute care facility. Designed and delivered HR programs and processes to include: talent acquisition, organizational design, succession planning, leadership development, benefit development, compensation planning, employee relations and performance management. Developed policies and provided guidance on effective human resource management. Monitored compliance with labor, benefit, and tax laws as well as other regulatory agencies. Selected Accomplishments Successfully developed, implemented and lead the recruiting life cycle strategies and programs that attracted top talent in the quickest and most cost effective manner. Designed, developed, and implemented an employee benefit program that was market competitive and was less than 17% of total SWB. Developed comprehensive compensation program that was both market competitive and budget neutral. 1986-1987 Employed by V.P. Human Resources to manage the activities of the human resource function within a union manufacturing plant. Administratively responsible for recruitment of sales, marketing, and production personnel, labor relations, benefit administration, compensation administration, workers compensation, unemployment compensation, and contract compliance.
