1. Objectives and Outcomes: Introduce the characteristics, biasing techniques, and circuit models of semiconductor devices. Provide basic analog circuit design techniques and analytical skills using Diodes, MOSFETs, BJTs & OP-AMPs. Develop student ability to: (a) apply basic engineering sciences to the design, analysis and operation of electronics devices and circuits.

Design electronic circuits to meet desired specifications.

2. By the end of this course students will learn: After successfully completing the course the student should be able to do the following:

Outline basic analog electronic circuit design and analytical skills using Diodes, MOSFETs, BJTs & OPAMPs. Describe the characteristics, biasing techniques, and circuit models of semiconductor devices. Apply basic engineering sciences to the design, analysis, and operation of electronics devices and circuits. Apply modern simulation tools such as PS PICE for the design, analysis, and performance evaluation of electronics circuits. Formulate problem solving skills of electronics circuits design of electronic circuits to meet desired specifications

No make up tests or quizzes, except in case of emergency, e.g. illness and accident. For make up tests, medical certificate is required and the instructor must be notified in advance of the test.

Minimum 75% attendance for this subject is must. If a student has less than 75% attendance he/she will not be allowed to appear in the final examination. Attendance will be marked 15 minutes after the start of the scheduled class time. No change in the attendance record will be made for late comers.
