This assignment on Mission, vision and objectives is a great opportunity to have a feel about organization model. The company which we prepared a report on, for this assignment, is a fictitious detergent company called Chamak, who wants to enter into the Indian detergent market against HUL and Nirma. While preparing this report we had an insight on the way the mission, vision and objectives of a company can be set. We are thankful to Professor Suresh Mony for giving us the opportunity to work on this assignment by which we got to know about how a model for organization works.

Description of business We are a start up detergent company with a motto to provide superior quality of detergents at low cost, keeping in mind of the needs of the price sensitive consumers. Mission To manufacture a detergent that will be the answer to the needs of the mass, superior quality detergent at a lower price. Vision To establish our brand in the rural market, of atleast 2 states, by the end of 2012 To get atleast 3 patents for the formula of our product in 2012 To start producing different variants of detergents by the start of 2014 To increase our production capacity, by five folds, by 2015 To enter into the market of the tier-2 cities 2014 To increase the supply chain efficiency in order to reduce the operation efficiency by 15% by 2013 Strategy Differentiation through: Low cost and high quality Promote our product by getting recommendation from head of village Live demonstration to the users Offering more commission to the distributors Recommendation from established fabric manufacturers
