Meetings are catered and take place four times per year at Crescent School, with plenty of parking and accessible by public transit.

Symposium
The TARGET Symposium will take place on: Monday, April 30 ! 3 pm - 5 pm ! at The Sterling Hall School Throughout this academic year, we will work towards preparing for round-table discussions and/or creating a poster presentation for the Symposium.

Meeting Agendas
Meetings will begin with an inspirational keynote. The majority of the time will be spent working on action research projects and receiving valuable feedback in the following areas: Establishing a question Preparing a literature review Determining methodology and data collection tools Completing data analysis Writing up research Sharing your action research project We value our professional learning community and the support given to each member. Through each stage of the process, you will be guided and inspired. You will have time to learn about and further develop your research skills in a supportive environment with like-minded educators. Come to as many or as few meetings as you would like to get feedback on your work, suggestions on future directions, and support from action research colleagues.

The Toronto Action Research Group for Excellence in Teaching cordially invites you to a Wine and Cheese action research event.
TARGET
Toronto Action for the last twelve years Seonaid has workedResearch as a teacher trainer at Havergal College. She holds a Master of Education from the Group for University of Toronto in Curriculum Design. In her capacity as teacher trainer, Seonaid is responsible for ongoing mentoring of Excellence teachers that centres on the implementation of 'teaching for understanding' and effective assessment and instructional strategies. in Teaching Seonaid will focus this keynote presentation
on the significant role that action research has to play in teachers' ongoing development of reflective practices. Wine and light refreshments will be served.
