Utilized Sage Abra, 4mybenefits, and Deltek. ACHIEVEMENTS: - Successfully represented organization during a DOL site-visit, and three ISO 9001:2008 Audits. Efforts resulted in sustainability of contracts, and added value to the firm. - Revised Recruiting practices to identify $130,000 in savings to the organization while ensuring that a 30-day time-to-fill objective was maintained. - Negotiated with benefits broker and benefit providers to achieve a 0% increase in benefit costs. - Mediated numerous high profile internal employee relations events to successful outcomes, avoiding legal intervention. Originally hired as a Training & Development Specialist, was promoted within a year. Utilized Kronos time-keeping/scheduling systems, and implemented customized PeopleSoft HRIS system. ACHIEVEMENTS: - Reduced employee turnover by 10% , resulting in an all-time low of 3.8%. - Supervised a 40-person HR Hurricane relief team for two weeks after Hurricanes Katrina and Rita ravaged New Orleans. - Orchestrated a compensation base rate increase; honor granted to only two (2) stores in entire company that year. - Implemented new scheduling, time-keeping, and HRIS system for a 12 store District. Conference & Event Services Manager Conference Center & Inn at Clemson University 5/2001 to 1/2004

Coordinated all housing, meals and function space for over 18,000 conference guests, representing 120+ separate multifunction events. Generated $1.2 Million in under three months each year, while managing 12 direct / 80 second-tier staff and utilizing all University facilities, including: a 17 room Conference Center, 89 room hotel, and 18-hole PGA rated Golf Course . ACHIEVEMENTS: - Awarded "New Conference Professional of the Year" in 2002 by the Association for Collegiate Conference & Events Directors International (ACCED-I). - Created 6 stand-alone training programs, ROI increased sales by $68,000 in first year, $43,000 in second year of implementation. -Full life cycle recruiting, supervision, training, and performance management of 12 staff. Developed and implemented process to ensure retention, recognition, quality performance, and capture employee experience data.
