THE DATE OF THE 6 DAYS WAR

(1967) WAS PROPHESIED IN

THE BIBLE!
By Mario A Olcese

June 7, 1967 was one of those historic dates that were already predicted in the
Bible. For the first time from the year 70 AD the ancient city was in the hands of
the Jews. God, by means of Daniel, the prophet, revealed this precise date as the
occasion that the sanctuary or the temple's place would be restored (and in the
same way the same city of Jerusalem) to his chosen people. Daniel registered the
date in his prophecy on the ram and the male goat. The prophecy is as follows:

1 In the third year of the reign of King Belshazzar a vision appeared to me—to me,
Daniel—after the one that appeared to me the first time. 2 I saw in the vision, and
it so happened while I was looking, that I was in Shushan, the citadel, which is in
the province of Elam; and I saw in the vision that I was by the River Ulai. 3 Then I
lifted my eyes and saw, and there, standing beside the river, was a ram which had
two horns, and the two horns were high; but one was higher than the other, and
the higher one came up last. 4 I saw the ram pushing westward, northward, and
southward, so that no animal could withstand him; nor was there any that could
deliver from his hand, but he did according to his will and became great.
5 And as I was considering, suddenly a male goat came from the west, across the
surface of the whole earth, without touching the ground; and the goat had a
notable horn between his eyes. 6 Then he came to the ram that had two horns,
which I had seen standing beside the river, and ran at him with furious power. 7
And I saw him confronting the ram; he was moved with rage against him, attacked
the ram, and broke his two horns. There was no power in the ram to withstand
him, but he cast him down to the ground and trampled him; and there was no one
that could deliver the ram from his hand. 8 Therefore the male goat grew very
great; but when he became strong, the large horn was broken, and in place of it
four notable ones came up toward the four winds of heaven. 9 And out of one of
them came a little horn which grew exceedingly great toward the south, toward
the east, and toward the Glorious Land. 10 And it grew up to the host of heaven;
and it cast down some of the host and some of the stars to the ground, and
trampled them. 11 He even exalted himself as high as the Prince of the host; and
by him the daily sacrifices were taken away, and the place of His sanctuary was
cast down. 12 Because of transgression, an army was given over to the horn to
oppose the daily sacrifices; and he cast truth down to the ground. He did all this
and prospered. 13 Then I heard a holy one speaking; and another holy one said to
that certain one who was speaking, “How long will the vision be, concerning the
daily sacrifices and the transgression of desolation, the giving of both the
sanctuary and the host to be trampled underfoot?” 14 And he said to me, “For two
thousand three hundred days; then the sanctuary shall be cleansed.” (Dan. 8:1-14)

Now then, all what it takes to do to obtain the date 1967 is a pencil and a paper,
some history, and an closer look to the declarations of the complete prophecy, just
as it is mentioned:

First, even though the vision includes several events, its principal intention is to
reveal the date in that the sanctuary or the temple's place would be restored to the
Jews, as it is proposed in verses 11 to 14.

1
Second, in verse 17 (that was not quoted previously), a “saint” bears witness
emphatically that the fulfillment of the vision, that is, the restoration of the
sanctuary, would happen in the time of the end.

Third, Daniel 8:20 (that neither was mentioned before), identify the ram
definitively. Gabriel explained to Daniel: “As to the ram that you saw, having the
two horns, they are the Kings of Media and Persia ”.

Forth, the male goat also received a positive identification as Alexander the Great.
Gabriel said: “The male goat is the king (or reign) of Greece, and the big horn that
is between its eyes is the first king”. (V.21).

Fifth, the history reveals that the river that Daniel saw in vision and on whose
sides freed a wheelbase between the ram itself and the male goat was the Granic
river. Here, in the year 334 BC, Alejandro gave his first assault on the Persian
empire, delivering such a blow, that they never recovered of it.

25:8).

Sixth, the 2.300 days of the verse 14 correspond to the same years' number, in the
same way as the 70 prophetic weeks of Daniel correspond to 490 years. This
beginning (that one day represent a year) happens several times in the Old
Testament (see Ezekiel 4:4-8. Also Genesis 29:27 and Lev. 25:8).
Seventh, these 2.300 years must be count from the beginning of vision, that is,
from 334 AC. In this way:

2300 years - 334 AC =1966

This arithmetical exercise does the vision get short for a year of the date of the
recuperation of ancient city of Jerusalem and of the place of the temple in 1967.
However, when Dionisius the Exiguous, a Scythian monk, established the
chronology for the Christian era in the sixth century, overlooked to include the year
0 between 1 BC and the year 1 DC. In this way, where the year 1 BC came to an
end, the year 1 AC began. This Exiguous's error (exiguous error) does necessary,
therefore, adding a year every time the chronological years are being calculated
from any date before Christ's birth until another one after that event.

With this correction, we have now the following quantities:

2300-334AC =1966 +1 =1967 DC

And this s the exact date of the Jewish recuperation of his ancient city and the
place of the temple!

Besides, it is interesting that the historians say than Alexander's initial attack on
the medias and Persians happened in May or June of 334 BC or approximately —¿or
is it that was exactly in that time? The same time of the year in which the Jews
recaptured his ancient sanctuary.
