Field of application APV ParaTube heat exchangers are renowned for their efficiency and flexibility. The APV ParaTube SMT/O features a special design for low and medium viscosity products in the dairy, brewery and food industries. Specifically designed for heating of CIP/water applications, the flexible design of the APV ParaTube also makes it suitable for general cooling and heating applications. Working principle The APV ParaTube SMT/O consist of a tube bundle inside the shell. Steam runs on the shell side and water or CIP solution in the tubes in counter-current flow.
