Responsible for developing and managing a highly successful program identifying and cultivating socio-economic development of small, minority, and women-owned businesses taking part in the federal procurement / contracting process, including the Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) Program and the Title VI Environmental Justice Program. Worked closely with senior management and other key personnel across the agency to analyze Authority's needs, budgetary requirements, and to ensure superior service delivery. Spearheaded implementation of the Authoritys Disadvantaged Business Enterprise program fully meeting 49 CFR Part 26 and Small Business Administration guidelines. Established annual participation level in alignment with OCTA expectations, and closely monitored participating business activities to ensure full compliance. Developed strategies to recruit small, minority and women-owned and operated to ensure a qualified pool of vendors available to meet Authority's needs.
