Dead set. Found cr4118 burned in half. Replaced cr4118 and c4 145. Unit still dead.u4101-16 is pulsing dc. Lifted cr4101-c and injected 12vdc and u4101 runs. As soon as ac is introduced to the supply , it dies.Replacing t4102 repaired the unit. Replace t4102 Hot will fail any where from a few minutes to days. Tech reported that c4145 in the 15v line was leaky. There was a 3v peak noise spike on 15v line. It was distorting horiz drive through t4301 and causing q4401 to fail.Replaced c4145 and horiz drive distortion disappeared

Scoping the video to the crt you could see that the video was being blanked. Found u1001-14 at 7.45v, cr4118 was at 10.1v. Replaced cr4118 Dead set. Grounding pin 2 of u4101 (regulator) the set would run in the standby mode. The pwm pulse on q4107 (pwm amp) base and collector look normal for the standby mode. Replaced u4101 regulator ic restored normal operation. Intermittent shutdown and come back on. At the moment of failure the regulated b+ was at nearly 170vdc. Negative looking picture. No color. while trouble shooting in the video circuits, noticed that the 12 volt run source was down to about eight volts. Traced fault to a defective 12 volt run transistor q4702 (shorted). All pip functions operated except the zoom function. Servicer tried another pip mod. Checking pin 8 of u3200 the b+ voltage was up to 5.6v. Checking cr4709 it had a .3v dc drop across it. Changing the diode (cr4709) the set regained the zoom feature. Small pix rolls thru the big pix and then fades out. Replaced the pip module and it didn't fix the set. Found the 5 volt line at j8001 pin 10 was 6.3vdc. Going back to the 5 volt run source in the power supply found q4703 had 7.1 volts on the base, caused by cr4606 zenering at 6.8 volts. This is a 5.6 volt zener diode. Set shuts down when hv comes up. Q4105 goes into saturation. The regulated 143vdc is at 111vdc. The problem was with q4105 going into saturation. This was caused by c4115. It would break down under a load and forward bias the b-e junction. You can lift the cap and test the set to verify this is the fault. Dead: checking with tech found that if grounding collector q4304 chassis would turn on. Tech had replaced u3101 no effect. Checking voltage on pin 19 u3101 found 0v. Checking emitter q4601 @ 0v & collector @ 12v & base @ 0v. Found cr4606 5.6v zener in 5v standby shorted. Vertical jitter after warm up. The servicer isolated the focus screen control and horiz circuit and they checked ok. The servicer grounded q304 (collector) and high voltage came up. The 9vdc regulator q4704 was not working (base and emitter were 0vdc). R4715 (200 ohm) was open. Standby voltages from the regulator are high. 140 volt line would jump up to 210 volts.
