This assignment covers 2 parts of unit 347 Getting Work in Music.

Assignment
As a Professional Music Practitioner, you may need to work in several areas of the music industry to generate revenue. You will explore 3 distinct areas of the music industry, which are used by Professional Free-Lance Musicians to generate income. You will create a portfolio containing the following : A Series of Interview Questions to be put to a Professional Free-lance Working Musician. Evidence of your research in preparation for the Interview.

The Videoed Interview with a Professional Free-lance Working Musician. An end report on your interview, relating to the three areas of the Music Industry identified as being of relevance to
your personal objectives and strategies. You should thoroughly research the various different jobs available within each area and also explain the relevant skills needed to fulfil these specific jobs as well as detailing how income is generated from each area of work and how further work can be promoted.
