Garter Stitch Sweater with Raglan

Shaping
A totally simple and eminently practical garter-stitch raglan sweater with
overlapping fronts. Its a good project for beginners who dont have much knitting
experience. The yarn is a rustic tweed, but the sweater would also look great in
another yarn, perhaps the same combination as for the coat shown on page 18.

One Sweater, Two Lengths

Two-in-one: The short bolero and the long sweater are exactly the same except for their
lengths. Both are pleated to gather in the fabric at the backa delightful detail. The garments are knit with an ultra-fine and light yarn, with almost endless yardage so even the
long sweater weighs little more than 10.5 ounces (300 g).
