There has been only one Christmas, the rest are anniversaries. W. J.

Cameron How are you celebrating the anniversary of the arrival of our Lord? Are you preparing for a feast, presents and family? Will you be alone and quiet, marking the day like any other? This anniversary will be celebrated differently in each household around us. Yet, there will be a common thread that binds us together in celebration. The common thread of Christmas is Christ. He should be the center of our celebration. We celebrate His birth as Gods gift of a Savior. We celebrate His coming as a reminder that God still speaks to those who will listen. We celebrate His life knowing that this child was destined to die on the cross for our sins. With joyful hearts we anticipate the celebration of Christmas. With eager eyes we look for God to speak to us as He has to those in days of old. With voices raised we proclaim the Messiahs birth. We have celebrated Christmas in worship through music and message. We will continue to do that this week and next. I invite you to celebrate with us. I look forward to seeing you this Sunday. Paul **Next weeks Builder will highlight the decisions of the church conference held on the 15th of December. Also included will be the update on the mold issue in the Shell Annex.

Sunday School Note: If you are a Sunday School teacher and are planning to be out Sunday December 26 please contact Bro. Earl at 416-7293. Update on Sunday School Space Sometimes things in our lives kind of get out of whack and it seems to throw us for a loop. This is how some of you may feel right now. But, let me assure you that this is just temporary and everyone will be back in the Annex soon. Ive been told by a wise man that the best time for the church to see its potential is when it goes through some difficult times. How we react to those challenging times will show us what we are made of. Ive had to ask myself this lately and I have asked God to fill me with his Spirit and lead me with his wisdom. I pray that each of us are filled with the Christmas spirit and others see it flowing from us as we go through this time of displacement. Bro.
