Satan: The Ruler of This World

Matthew 4:8 Again, the devil taketh him up into an

exceeding high mountain, and sheweth him all the
kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them;9 And
saith unto him, All these things will I give thee, if
thou wilt fall down and worship me.10 Then saith
Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is
written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and
him only shalt thou serve.

Matthew 12:24 But when the Pharisees heard it, they

said, This fellow doth not cast out devils, but by
Beelzebub the prince of the devils.25 And Jesus knew
their thoughts, and said unto them, Every kingdom
divided against itself is brought to desolation; and
every city or house divided against itself shall not
stand:26 And if Satan cast out Satan, he is divided
against himself; how shall then his kingdom stand?

Mark 3:22 And the scribes which came down from

Jerusalem said, He hath Beelzebub, and by the prince
of the devils casteth he out devils.23 And he called
them unto him, and said unto them in parables, How
can Satan cast out Satan?24 And if a kingdom be
divided against itself, that kingdom cannot stand.

Luke 4:5 And the devil, taking him up into an high

mountain, shewed unto him all the kingdoms of the
world in a moment of time.6 And the devil said unto
him, All this power will I give thee, and the glory of
them: for that is delivered unto me; and to
whomsoever I will I give it.7 If thou therefore wilt
worship me, all shall be thine.8 And Jesus answered
and said unto him, Get thee behind me, Satan: for it
is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and
him only shalt thou serve.

Luke 11:15 But some of them said, He casteth out

devils through Beelzebub the chief of the devils.
Luk11:17 But he, knowing their thoughts, said unto

them, Every kingdom divided against itself is
brought to desolation; and a house divided against a
house falleth. 18 If Satan also be divided against
himself, how shall his kingdom stand? because ye
say that I cast out devils through Beelzebub.

John 12:31 Now is the judgment of this world: now

shall the prince [NKJV: ruler] of this world be cast
out.

John 14:30 Hereafter I will not talk much with you:

for the prince [NKJV: ruler] of this world cometh, and
hath nothing in me.

John 16:7 Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is

expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away,
the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart,
I will send him unto you.8 And when he is come, he
will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness,
and of judgment:9 Of sin, because they believe not
on me;10 Of righteousness, because I go to my
Father, and ye see me no more;11 Of judgment,
because the prince [NKJV: ruler] of this world is
judged.

2 Corinthians 4:3 But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to

them that are lost:
4 In whom the god of this world hath blinded the
minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the
glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God,
should shine unto them.

Ephesians 2:1 And you hath he quickened, who were

dead in trespasses and sins;2 Wherein in time past
ye walked according to the course of this world,
according to the prince of the power of the air, the
spirit that now worketh in the children of
disobedience:3 Among whom also we all had our
conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh,
fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and
were by nature the children of wrath, even as others.

Ephesians 6:11 Put on the whole armour of God, that
ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the
devil.12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood,
but against principalities, against powers, against
the rulers of the darkness of this world, against
spiritual wickedness in high places.

Revelation 2:12 And to the angel of the church in

Pergamos write; These things saith he which hath
the sharp sword with two edges;13 I know thy works,
and where thou dwellest, even where Satan's seat
[NKJV, RSV: throne] is: and thou holdest fast my
name, and hast not denied my faith, even in those
days wherein Antipas was my faithful martyr, who
was slain among you, where Satan dwelleth.

Revelation 13:2 And the beast which I saw was like

unto a leopard, and his feet were as the feet of a
bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion: and the
dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great
authority.3 And I saw one of his heads as it were
wounded to death; and his deadly wound was
healed: and all the world wondered after the beast.4
And they worshipped the dragon which gave power
unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast,
saying, Who is like unto the beast? who is able to
make war with him?
