Media Relations Assistant, Northwest Missouri State University, Office of University Relations (August 2011- present) Interview, research and write news releases and feature stories that are sent to local and regional media as well as being featured on the University website. Editorial Assistant, Northwest Alumni Magazine (May 2011 - August 2011) Assist in planning content and design for the magazine, research, interview and write feature stories, edit content and layouts and assist in planning redesign of magazine. Editor-in-Chief, Northwest Missourian - student-run newspaper at Northwest Missouri State University (May 2010 - May 2011) Research and conduct a newspaper redesign, develop a stronger online presence, introduce a new website format for the publication, converge the different media entities to form a television news show, manage planning, production and execution of the newspaper, manage an 18-person staff, design the publication and manage a staff payroll budget. Co-producer, KNWT - Channel 8 News (August 2010 - May 2011) Initiate and develop the converged television news show on the campus student-run television station, wrote scripts for the anchor, coordinate the guests of the show and operate teleprompter for host.
