God Never Fails!

Joshua 21

The Lord made promises to those who love Him and you can count on Him to fulfill every
single one of them. Amen

While living out our lives here we need to realize that not everyone will receive the same
types of rewards here.

Joshua 21:1-3
God’s provision
1. The LORD never forgot His promise to the Levites.
2. Their cousins got huge properties.
3. The Levites got towns.

The Levite’s didn’t complain about their inheritance instead the embraced what the Lord
gave them.

But for us many times we are dissatisfied with our place before God. We wish the LORD
would have given us something different, like the guys over there working in the
prophetic or the ones with lots of money.

Sometimes we even get bitter at the LORD because of this.

We need to learn to have the hearts of the Levites. How many of us need to learn to
embrace what God has for us and even where He has us at any given time? Content

Joshua 13:33

Deut. 18 the LORD would provide for them. Jehovah-jireh

We are called Priest

1 Peter 2:5
God has given us different qualities/gifts in our lives that people would see that Jesus
Christ is Lord and the wonderful name of God would be glorified.

1 Peter 4:10-11
On top all the Lord is giving us here we have a special inheritance waiting for us.

1 Peter 1:4
What is this inheritance? God Himself!
God doesn’t always give our rewards in this life. He wants the best for us and not
everything we want is good for us. Our inheritance may not be like others, money, land,
popularity, things that the world would consider important.

God sees things different He also value things differently. Story

God’s heart for us is that we would live with a clear conscience, with great relationships,
with peace of mind knowing God has everything under control, with the heart of
forgiveness, hope and answered prayers.

Remember gang what matters here may not matter so much up there.

Joshua 21:43-45
Promises made
1. Love, Salvation, Holy Spirit, Everlasting Life, Freedom, Growth, Encouragement,
Excellence, Protection, Guidance, Joy, and to care for you, there is many more.

All this tells me the heart of my God, His compassion and desire for me and His heart for
me to desire Him.

All the promises the Lord made will unfold in our lives, all we need to do is be patient
with Him as He shapes and molds us. Amen

A lot of time we want to rush the Lord’s work due to discomfort or impatience.

The problem gang is that the process can not be rushed.

God’s plan is that we would be come Christ like and this takes time. As we learn more
about what God says about us and as we learn more about our God.

God is into building up people who look and act like His son Jesus.

2 Corinthians 3:18
The Israelite’s spent years in the wilderness and then fought years for the land God
promised.

It’s only mentioned here that they finally had rest in the land that was promised to them.

My heart this morning is that you will be encouraged to press into the plans that God has
for you and not gave up. Because I know the plans that He has for you is GOOD!
