Redesign of the functional side & morphing the master sections to new Class-A developed by the OEM

Develop Class-B surfaces from Class-A, Design ribs, bosses, honeycomb structures, attachments and locators according to the functionality of the part and Die-Draw Direction Pocket. Tools: UG-NX, TcAE Incorporate Design Changes as per the final analysis report (EWO) and packaging study Providing data for engineering study of IP & Console fittings such as appliqu, IP cluster, glove box, map

Value added Engineering

Value analysis and Value Engineering Presented in-house seminars on FAST diagrams, Why-why analysis in relation to Value Analysis (VA) and Value Engineering (VE).

Coordinated of the Value Engineering team of company.

Coordinated VAVE workshop for Idea generation, for reducing cost of MUV and Small car of an North American OEM. Contributed through suggesting many ideas and Coordinated implementation of idea on deletion of coin box in IP, hence reducing part count. Other ideas implemented were, eliminating rear cup holder of Floor console, and integration of map pocket with Door trim. Participated in VAVE for reducing cost of Engine assembly (Crank case, cylinder head etc.,) of a 2 wheeler for Japanese OEM. The ideas implemented were, replacing supporting bosses with ribs, and optimizing weight by reducing material at cylinder mounting face through weight reduction pockets. Carried out Value Engineering project for a IP Glove box assembly for a NA OEM, and reduced weight and cost reduction effectively.
