My beloved students, For Question 1, follow the style of writing in the sample essay (for Question 1) which I have

given you. In the introduction, do not elaborate much, just write direct to the point and in the body paragraphs write at least two or three key features and any outstanding fact/info you can obtain from the graphs and write a precise conclusion. Stick to the new formula: NEW FORMULA: -TITLE 1ST paragraph: INTRODUCTION + OVERVIEW ( TWO sentences) Therefore, the first sentence is now called the 'Introduction' where you just mention what stimuli you see (graph, chart, diagram etc) while the second one is now called 'Overview', not Controlling Idea (CI) Body paragraphs: (2/3) : KEY FEATURES + outstanding information from the graphs CONCLUSION: Summary (mention the main trend again) For Question 2, make sure you write good introduction (with thesis statement + central ideas), good body paragraphs (with topic sentence +controlling ideas), supporting details, elaborations & concluding sentence/s) and good conclusions. Use good expressive modified words, phrases and sentences, appropriate choice of words and a wide range of sentence structures that can blend well. Make sure your topic sentence, elaborations, supporting details and concluding sentence/s are linked together and dont make ideas left unfinished. Besides that, use relevant vocabulary skillfully. There must also be coherence and cohesion in your essay. Coherence refers to the linking ideas through logical sequence, while cohesion refers to the varied and appropriate use of cohesive devices (for example: logical connectors, pronouns and conjunctions) to assist in making conceptual and referential relationships between and within sentences very clear. Try your best to avoid grammatical mistakes by applying all the grammatical rules that you have learned. (tense sequence, subject verb agreement, modal verbs, etc) Read and rewrite the sample essays that I have given.
