The question: Why Japanese dont use to panic when theres earthquakes?

Exactly! Even MY country was having a flip out, but I've been to Japan (I travel a whole lot, don't ask.) and expecienced one of the many earthquakes, so I was just like "..Uh-huh. Your point is what exactly?" Even Japan wasn't that concerned, but the rest of the world was basically "OHMIGAWD JAPAN IS LIKE, SOOO DOOMED! WE MUST HELP THEM! NOO!!", as stated in the comic. Though I think this comic has a point, and that's exactly what all the other countries were thinking. xD, Anyways, long pointless comment, but...I LOL'D. This was one of the comments from the forums of Scandinavia and The World website (satwcomic.com/don-t-panic) about a comic situating an American man and a United Nations man conversing about the recent earthquake that doomed the Land of the Rising Sun saying that they need to help Japan because of what happened to them but still Japan appears to be in control, not minding what just happened just said that they two should focus on more poor nations. (its on the next page.) While its somewhat true that most of the Japanese dont use to panic when earthquake hits them, still we can never say that panic hasnt made its way to them since its their lives in danger. Based on my research, Japan is frequently visited by number of earthquakes a day like our country, Philippines since country is in the Pacific Ring of Fire, a region of earth where most volcanoes lie, and with this situation, Japanese will be more likely to be educated on what to do when earthquakes shake their land and where in fact, panicking will never be a solution to what was already happening. Japanese government encourages their people to take precautionary measure when certain disaster happens. In fact, in dealing with earthquakes, Japanese government provided their people a very detailed and comprehensive earthquakes measure. In Japan DIY they dedicated a row for survival kits. They have drills several times a year. Unlike the people Philippines, Japanese will take their government advice more seriously. With their education about certain disaster provided by their leaders, most probably they will rely first on themselves before others. With a country ready on every disaster, no one will be a liability

Chinese Netizens Admire Japans Post-Earthquake Behavior

Here are several posts that are popular on Chinas internet, repeatedly being posted and spread on many different Chinese internet discussion forums. The first post features several photographs and captions concerning the orderly reaction of Japanese people to the Tohoku (previously Sendai) earthquake and tsunami.

Here are several comments about the photos

Japanese people sitting on the sides of the stairs, ensuring that the center remains clear and accessible. This is the result of education, not something that can be obtained through GDP [alone].

Ive been a fenqing before in the past, but it wasnt until I went to Japan that I realized how onesided I was, and that Japan indeed has many areas worth China learning from. Japanese peoples characters really are very high. Every time I go [to Japan] I am moved. One thing that left a very deep impression with me was once when I was in Osaka and asked for directions at the entrance of the subway station. The ayi[auntie, lady] cleaning the elevator put down the things in her hands, tidied up, and placed them in a corner. Then she walked with me through most of the subway station until we arrived at where I wanted to go. Some of the subway station exits in Japan are very far from each other. It was truly sincere enthusiasm/friendliness. Having suddenly suffered a 8.9 magnitude earthquake, and at the same time as I wish the Japanese the best, I must say that I have learned a lot from this disaster After the earthquake, Japans Suntory company announced that all vending machines are free to use, just press the button and the drink will come out! Japans 7-11 and Family Mart are all providing food and drinks for free! And the images below, I am deeply amazed This is the image of a country, without somemeeting [referring to China's recent "Two Meetings"]. Though Japan has suffered a disaster, the people of Japan have taught the worlds people a lesson They have drills several times a year, they even have earthquake precaution handbooks. This is true. In countries where earthquakes happen a lot, basically everyone knows how to take care of themselves. But in certain places, we are indeed inferior to others, this must be admitted. Every year when we have disasters we put on a show, [but] of course thats done just for the leaders to see.

Social order in developed countries are all very good, where everyone is very aware and proactive. Look at Americas 911. This has nothing to do with training, it has everything to do with character.
