Formulation
aloe vera gel, witch hazel, tea tree oil, peppermint oil

Importance of Each Ingredient
100 pure aloe vera gel
-It is used Ior general skin care and soIten and moisturize the skin because aloe
regenerates skin cells it is also known to reduce wrinkles, eczema, acne, sun/age spots, and other
blemishes

Witch hazel
-It is used to treat dry skin, and also Ior general skin care. It is mainly used externally on
sores, bruises, and swelling.

Tea Tree Oil
- It is not just soothing and disinIecting, it is capable oI penetrating into the lower skin
layers with its anti-inIlammatory, disinIectant, analgesic (pain-killing) and cicatrizant (wound-
healing) qualities. It is eIIective against nail Iungus, ringworm, athlete's Ioot, dandruII, acne,
blackheads and many types oI inIestations including lice, mites, scabies and mosquitoes etc.

Peppermint Oil
- Peppermint oil contains Menthol, which is good Ior skin. It gives a cooling eIIect.
Further it nourishes dull skin and improves oily skin.

Procedure
Place about 1 cup oI your pure aloe vera gel into a bowl.
Slowly mix in 1-2 teaspoons oI Witch Hazel. You do not want the consistency oI the gel
to become too thin
Add 3-4 drops oI Tea Tree essential oil, and 3-4 drops oI Peppermint essential oil. Slowly
stir ingredients together.
II you Iind the consistency to be too thin, add more aloe vera gel a teaspoon at a time
until you reach your desired consistency.
Store in your desired container. Use as you would any other hand sanitizer as necessary.

O You can add other scented essential oils to the mixture Ior a more pleasant scent such as
lavender oil or rose oil. II you Iind the tea tree oil and peppermint oil scent to strong, use
lesser amounts.

O Witch Hazel and Tea Tree oil can cause excessive dryness in people with sensitive skin.
II you Iind this occurring, limit the use oI your sanitizer to a Iew times a day.
