PROMOTE THE PLACE! CONGRATULATIONS!

IsabelArranz Requejo

You are working now for a big company of tourism around the world. You work in the promotion department! This is a really interesting job, because your job is explain to other people how different places in the world are, so you will have to make them want to go. Your task, as a department is to explain and promote things about the place your boss ask you to. Every group is a department. You have to prepare a poster card and a text to accompany the poster card and finally, you will show the rest of departments your job.

In order to make it easier, here I explain your job step by step, so, dont panic and lets work!

PROCESS: TASK 1: You need to look for information about the following aspects: 1.- In what continent is the place or city you are going to promote. 2.- In what country is it? (you can also draw the flag) 3.- What are the geographic coordinates of that city/place? 4.- Climate. Show a climate graph of that place. (Take notes because you will need it to explain to your classmates what are the main features of this climate). 5.- Landscape. Show a characteristic landscape of that place 6.- Time zones: Draw two clocks in order to say what time is it (One saying what time is it in Spain, the other one says what time is it in the country/city). 7.- Pictures, drawings, whatever you want that help people to create an approximate idea of how is that place. TASK 2: Having all that information, you need to create a poster (Poster board), on which you will show all that information you have collected. TASK 3: You need to prepare a text with all the information you have to present the poster. FINAL PRODUCT: A presentation of the promotion of all the groups (including showing the poster and also the explanation).
