Okay, said his father, what does the bible mean? Thats easy Daddy the young boy replied excitedly, it stands for Basic Information Before Leaving Earth.
Needless to say, any time spent reading our Bibles, has got to be an important part of our lives. We read instruction manuals for household items, cars, caravans, work tools etc because we need to do things properly and effectively. Without following the instructions we may damage the goods, not get the best out of them or may not even get them to work! Why are our lives not treated more importantly than things? Without heeding the instructions and information Gods put in His Word we run the risk of missing out on His best for us and of not being effective for the Kingdom of God. So unlike a household manual that gets read once and then filed away, make sure your Bible is getting dog-eared and dirty from use!! Blessings,
