Dec. 21, Wed.-is the time for Sewing Circle to meet at Bowmansville Mennonite. Our project this month is Health Kits. We will also be taking nominations for persons to fill the roles of Vice President, Assistant Secretary, Songleader and Treasurer. Please pray that persons will be open to filling these assignments. Dec. 22, Thurs.- Jr. Youth Group meeting at the church at 7 p.m. Dec. 30, Fri.- Youth Group Lock-in. Jan. 15, Sun.- Service of Baptism for Lydia, Rachel, and Jacob Musselman and Autumn Sauder. Jan. 15, Sun.-Secret Sister Tea, 4 p.m. in the fellowship hall. More info to come. Feb. 4, Sat.-WOODCREST RETREAT'S SWEETHEART BANQUET will be held at the EPHRATA MENNONITE CHURCH at 6 p.m. Come enjoy delicious food, special music and encouragement for your marriage! "Caring for the Heart of Your Mate" will be the theme of speaker Jason Reed, Pastor of Mt. Zion Dunkard Brethren Church. Cost: $35 per couple. If you could serve in this way, please sign up on the sheet on the table in the narthex. -The 2012 offering envelopes are on the table in the narthex. Please complete the slip of paper in your offering envelope box and then drop it into the wooden box on the table. This will enable us to give you the correct report of your offerings at year-end. -You are invited to help provide prelude music on Christmas morning prior to our morning service. Please sign up on the paper on the table in the narthex. All ages are welcome to participate! As in several past years, we also plan to sing the "Hallelujah Chorus" during that service and will welcome your participation. -The last offerings for December will be designated for District Bishop Support . -Hold the fruitcake! This year, take holiday whoopie pies to your neighbors, kids, coworkers or Christmas dinner. Blossom Hill Mennonite women will decorate and gift wrap Lancaster's famous chocolate treat to support Mennonite missions. $8/half-dozen, $15/dozen, $25/two dozen. Dec. 25, Sun. - Worship Service - Christmas Program will begin at 9:30 AM, preceded by prelude music starting around 9:15 AM. There will be no Sunday School classes. Dec. 18, Sun.-Christmas Caroling at Landis Homes, 2:30 p.m. meet in the Harvestview lobby. Then at 4 p.m., meet at in the church fellowship hall to carol in the community. A light supper will follow.
