WE WONT LEAVE HERE LIKE
WE CAME
We wont leave here like we came,
In Jesus name. Bound, oppressed, a icted
Sick or lame. For the Spirit of the Lord is
Sll the same, we wont leave here like we
Came, in Jesus name.

JOHN 5:1-8 (NIV)
1
Some me later, Jesus went up to Jerusalem
for one of the Jewish fesvals.
2
Now there is in
Jerusalem near the Sheep Gate a pool, which in
Aramaic is called Bethesda and which is surrounded
by ve covered colonnades.
3
Here a great number
of disabled people used to liethe blind, the lame,
the paralyzed.
5
One who was there had been an
invalid for thirty-eight years.
6
When Jesus saw him
lying there and learned that he had been in this
condion for a long me, he asked him, Do you
want to get well?
7
Sir, the invalid replied, I have no one to help me
into the pool when the water is srred. While I am
trying to get in, someone else goes down ahead of
me.
8
Then Jesus said to him, Get up! Pick up your
mat and walk.
11:00 a.m.
JOHN 5:1-8 (THE MESSAGE)
1-6
Soon another Feast came around and Jesus
was back in Jerusalem. Near the Sheep Gate in
Jerusalem there was a pool, in Hebrew called
Bethesda, with ve alcoves. Hundreds of sick
peopleblind, crippled, paralyzedwere in these
alcoves. One man had been an invalid there for
thirty-eight years. When Jesus saw him stretched
out by the pool and knew how long he had been
there, he said, "Do you want to get well?"
7
The sick man said, "Sir, when the water is srred,
I don't have anybody to put me in the pool. By
the me I get there, somebody else is already
in."
8-9
Jesus said, "Get up, take your bedroll, start
walking."

Confession of Sins
A
lmighty and Most Merciful Father, we
come before You, acknowledging our
sins, our shortcomings, and our breaking of
our Covenant with You.
Not only have we done things we ought
not have done, said things we ought not to
have said, le undone so many things we
ought to have done and been silent when
we should have witnessed for You.
Not only are we guilty of that, O Lord; but
we have also closed our eyes and pretended
not to see the injusces, the racism, and
the evil which pervade our everyday lives.
We have shut our ears and pretended
not to hear the cries for liberaon which
come from the lips, lives and hearts of the
oppressed even our own Black brothers
and sisters!
Forgive us, O Lord, renew our courage and
faith, and keep us ever mindful of Thy great
sacrice. Hear us, we beseech Thee, as
we come to You in love and worship giving
Your name the praise forevermore.
******
To All Our Visitors ... To all who mourn
and need comforng ... To all who are
friendless and want friendship ... To all who
are oppressed and need liberaon; and
to whosoever will come, Trinity opens its
doors. Thank you for coming and may God
bless you.

2012 Trinity UCC Theme
Walking, Talking and Living Our Faith, Ephesians 4 (NLT)
January Ephesians 4:1
Therefore I, a prisoner for serving the Lord, beg
you to lead a life worthy of your calling, for you
have been called by God.
February Ephesians 4:2
Always be humble and gentle. Be paent with
each other, making allowance for each others
faults because of your love.
March Ephesians 4:3
Make every eort to keep yourselves united
in the Spirit, binding yourselves together with
peace.
April Ephesians 4:4
For there is one body and one Spirit, just as you
have been called to one glorious hope for the
future.
May Ephesians 4:5-6
There is one Lord, one faith, one bapsm, and
one God and Father, who is over all and in all
and living through all.
June Ephesians 4:7
However, he has given each one of us a special
gi through the generosity of Christ.
July Ephesians 4:11
Now these are the gis Christ gave to the
church: the apostles, the prophets, the
evangelists, and the pastors and teachers.
August Ephesians 4:12
Their responsibility is to equip Gods people to
do his work and build up the church, the body of
Christ.
September Ephesians 4:13
This will connue unl we all come to such unity
in our faith and knowledge of Gods Son that we
will be mature in the Lord, measuring up to the
full and complete standard of Christ.
October Ephesians 4:14
Then we will no longer be immature like
children. We wont be tossed and blown about
by every wind of new teaching. We will not be
inuenced when people try to trick us with lies
so clever they sound like the truth.
November Ephesians 4:15-16
Instead, we will speak the truth in love, growing
in every way more and more like Christ, who is
the head of his body, the church. He makes the
whole body t together perfectly. As each part
does its own special work, it helps the other
parts grow, so that the whole body is healthy
and growing and full of love.
December Ephesians 31-32
Get rid of all bierness, rage, anger, harsh
words, and slander, as well as all types of
evil behavior. Instead, be kind to each other,
tenderhearted, forgiving one another, just as
God through Christ has forgiven you.
May the road rise to meet you,
May the wind be at your back.
May the sunlight of Jesus Christ grace your cheek,
And may rain gently fall upon your eld.
May God keep you in the hollow
of Gods Hand unl we meet again.
Go in peace.
