Dear Human Resources Department: Over the last three years, I have had the privilege of working as a Clinical

In this role, I have a v ariety of responsibilities such as training staff across all New-York Presbyteri an campuses on Eclipsys XA, Cisyphus, PACS, Imnet, and Mersth. I also am heavily involved in IT meetings, staff Eclipsys end user groups, and implementation mee tings at each campus. In addition, I create technical documents on a daily basis to educate clinical s taff on the various above mentioned clinical software. Each day, I learn more ab out the ins/outs of the multitude of databases the hospital uses. I am currently COLE's lead on the following projects: Columbia Medical Center - Eclipsys MD Do cumentation Rollout, coordinate, create Eclipsys XA training materials, train st aff, instructors on training sessions HIM Eclipsys XA trainings for Cornell/West chester Campus's East Hemodialysis RN/MD Eclipsys XA Rollout Mersth Instructor Redesigning upgraded version's e-learning curriculum Eclipsys XA SuperBill Capt ivate e-learning curriculum design Cornell Nursing Education End User Documentat ion Committee representative I have been a clinical trainer and heavily involved in IT implementation/training rollouts for the last 10 years. I first started in the financial industry, where my role was on the trading floo r, as a financial analyst, and then became the "go-to" person for IT/web design projects to update MetLife's website with stock quotes. I quickly developed a pa ssion for IT expertise. Then, I began my career as a technical trainer/IT suppor t, by training social workers at Palladia, on a non-profit database called AWARD S, and became the sole trainer for 500+ staff. After that, I worked as a senior trainer/implementation technical writer at New York Hotel Trades Council, and be gan my career in the healthcare industry working with doctors to implement Cerne r, Mckesson, and AS400 systems. As sole trainer at both these companies, I developed a very independent nature a nd was able to develop a multitude of training/IT implementation programs such a s end user work groups for staff across various locations, weekly on-site traini ng programs, open-house training programs for staff, and an e-learning library f or the technical training programs I created for each system. I am a very hard w orker and determined professional. When I am given an assignment I require limit ed supervision and work in a high, professional manner. In my next role in the I nformation Technology industry, I am seeking a role where I can learn the "behin d the scenes" process of how technical systems are created, and hope to take my training skills, and technical writing skills that I have mastered to the "table " as well. I can be reached by telephone at (646) 753 - 0046 or email at cg127ed b4@westpost.net. Sincerely, Carolyn E. Gerstel Carolyn E.
