Overview This course focuses on the modern accident/incident investigation tools that assist organizations to learn and to prevent the recurrence of accidents and to evaluate the extent and location of management defects (root-causes) contributory to the occurrence of accidents. This training will explain how a good analytical accident investigation is invaluable to achieve continuous advancement in an organizations health, safety and environmental management system.

During this course you will find out: How to recognize and plan for Hazards that affect you operations.. You will learn how to specify risk for a Safety Report. You will learn how to implement preventative Actions You will how to modify the existing safety structure in your organisation. You will learn about preparation of safety reports and tracking systems. You will study Preventative Action Plans which include all of the 20 elements of a Safety Management System. You will be introduced to Safety Policy, Safety Inspection, Audit and Safety Reporting, Accident and Incident Reporting, Risk Analysis, Project Safety, Permit to Work, Hazardous Areas, Hazards Operations (HAZOP), Modifications, Emergency Response, Environmental Protection etc Case studies will be used to review predicaments that have occurred when safety audits have not been carried out correctly. You will experience the pressures in decision making by taking part as a member of an Emergency Response Team.. Target Participants This course is intended for area engineer, supervisors, senior management personnel and incident investigation team.
