Wood Furniture Will Damage The Natural Environment Production of wood furniture will damage the natural environment if it isnt controlled correctly. Some reasons which can contribute the damage are firstly, population in the world increases continually, they certainly need new houses with new furniture and some of the furniture are made from wood. Secondly, a lot trees will be cut down and those are used as materials to make some furniture. Thirdly, most of producers who cut down trees and provide woods as materials dont recultivide. Population always increases continually every year. Some countries try to reduce the growth of population with some methods. Indonesia is one of those countries which has keluarga berencana method to reduce the growth of population but it stays increase. For example, the traffic in the capital city of Indonesia more and more occur traffic jam. Because of this problem, a lot of people will need new houses to continue her or his life with her husband or his wife. The new house certainly need some furniture and several of them is made from wood. Even some moguls usually prefer wood furniture to furnish his/her house, although they must pay much money for those furniture. Because of the growth of population, requests of furniture will increase especially the wood furniture. The necessities of material which is used to make those furniture certainly also increases. So, a lot of trees will cut down to fill up the request of woods. And it sometimes is taken from the natural forest because trees of the particular areas where is grown some trees as wood material dont be ample to fill up a lot of requests. Most producers who cut down the trees and provide woods usually dont recultivide especially the illegal producers. They usually make a aggrement with the government councillor to take some areas in the natural forest as the location to cut down some trees. Whereas those natural forest are restricted areas to cut down. And

they usually leave that area without re-cultivide, so it can make the damage because that area can be barren soil and a lot plants cant grown again in that area. For example some areas in Wasior, Papua where occurred the flood disaster whereas this disaster has never happened before. Some of woods was founded with the water flow and it signified that the illegal cut down occurred in the upper area. In conclusion, it can be worst if this situation dont fixed. Production of furniture with the synthetic material ought to be increased to reduce the cutting down. And the multi-purpose furniture maybe can also fix this problem. And finally, if we want to get the better life, we need to be the environments friend.
