Dear Sir, Re: FUND REQUEST PROPOSAL AND BUDGET Gospel Power Faith Ministries (GPFM) is a Christian organization in Uganda, promoting and championing spread of true Christianity and supporting needy communities to improve livelihoods in Uganda. The organization extends a helping hand to the vulnerable youths, orphans, widows, elderly and the needy communities. We do this by providing basic help in education, health, shelter, missionary work and community based projects. GPFM promoters have a passion for rural communities and great desire to see these communities transformed into beacons of prosperity. GPFM has a network of more than 50 Churches all over Uganda. The Ministry is dully registered with Uganda Government Registrar of Companies, the NGO Board and the Fellowship of Born Again Churches. GPFM Head Office and parent/main Church is located Kira Town, on Kira Najjera Road, Kampala. For a long time now the GPFM has been faced with challenges to meet the social needs of the Church members and the rest of the communities surrounding us in the areas we operate. Most of these demands are caused by gross poverty in the rural areas, effects of HIV/AIDS and war especially in Northern Uganda. Top in our records are many children who are orphans. Most of them lost parents because of HIV/AIDS. Unfortunately, even some of these children contracted the disease at birth and live with it now. We also have a big number of youth, both boys and girls, who neither go to school nor have jobs. This has caused great idleness among them and has promoted among other things immorality, criminality, early pregnancies among underage girls and the spread of HIV/AIDS. GPFM with other stakeholders is trying to intervene by establishing Churches, Orphanages, Christian Based Schools and Clinics in every District as we complement those Government efforts in trying to address the same problems. It is our opinion that we would best address these problems by proving

good quality formal and vocational education to these children and the youth. We would also like to establish a Leadership Institute that will train and equip these youth and the local communities with values of servant leadership to enable them transform their communities and families into beacons of prosperity. It is against this background that the GPFM wishes to request for funding and other resources from the European Fund to support the needy children and youth in the rural communities attain formal and vocational education, and to also empower them in a way that will benefit them and their communities. Please find an attached summarized budget of our most urgent needs for your consideration for the provision of funding. We have also attached an extensive Activity Profile and Strategic Plan covering Three Years from which we have extracted this summarized budget. Yours sincerely
