This course aims to equip participants who wish to acquire recent knowledge, skills, and competencies to enable them fulfill their roles in procurement and contract management. On completion of this course delegates should be able to conduct and manage a complete tender process including how to manage contract as well as: Establish award criteria and evaluate tenders from a financial and value for money perspective Prepare scoring mechanisms and justify contract award recommendations Negotiate with suppliers and manage supplier performance and contracts Participants will also: Understand tender documentation and processes Understand the concept of strategic procurement Develop specifications Devise contract notices in the required format Think strategically about their procurement procedures and processes Prepare and write tender documents for a variety of different tenders Research suppliers and markets for goods and services Understand the benefits of aggregation Understand what drives suppliers and the markets they operate in and many more WHO SHOULD ATTEND? REGISTRATION FEES Course fee is USD995 per delegate payable in advance. The fee is inclusive of refreshments, course materials and lunch. Two or more delegates from the same organization that register and pay by 15th February 2012 are entitled to reduced fee of USD950 per delegate for each course. Organizations that sponsor more than 10 participants will be entitled to a discount of 10 percent.
