Instructions
Main Screen

The Main Screen consists of three main category buttons which are setup in the password protected administration form. These buttons can be setup to either open a subscreen (default) which contains more program buttons, or to run a program or website (setup). Before pressing one of the buttons, CyberCafPro locks out the system entirely. Once a button is pressed, the timer starts, and the taskbar appears below, without the start button or icon tray. This is so the user can access any windows he has opened. When finished, pressing the 'End Session' button hides the taskbar, locks all the mainscreen buttons, calculates the total cost (configurable), and flashes it on the screen. The system can only be restarted with a password, or once the Auto Reset time has expired (configurable). The screen background, logo, and buttons are fully configurable in the admin screen. The 'Instructions' button in the top right of the screen contains the instructions for the customer to view, and can be edited in the administration screen. The 'Administration' button just below the 'Instructions' button is to access the administration screen, and once an admin password has been set, it must be entered into the password confirmation box which pops up in order to access the admin screen. Below the 'Admin' button is the exit password box, which exits CyberCafPro completely with the proper password. If any passwords are entered incorrectly, an alert sound is played.

Login Window

Once in the admin screen, CyberCafPro is highly configurable.

Admin Screen
Screens & Buttons

When the the 'Main' button (upper left) is selected you can edit the background, logo, and buttons on the main program screen. Selecting the 'Screen1', 'Screen2', and 'Screen3' buttons lets you edit the background and buttons on the subscreens that appear when a user presses one of the mainscreen buttons. After selecting one of the mainscreen buttons, you can choose the background picture and logo (mainscreen only) for that screen. Click on the 'Edit' button to tile, center, or stretch the background image. You can also stretch the logo image file to fit the screen. For the best fit, it is recommended that you use a logo file of 850x350 or smaller, with a transparent background. Smaller files do not have to be stretched, but larger ones will require it, and image quality is lowered with stretching. You can then edit each of the buttons on each of the screens, three on the main screen, and 8 on each of the subscreens. In the button designer, you can set a program for each button to run, or a web page to open. The font, font size, color, icon, and text of each button is fully configurable. Security & Passwords The security & passwords tab is very straight forward. Here you set the Admin password, to access the admin screen. When first run, CyberCafPro will prompt you to enter an Admin password. The Reset password is the password that is typed in the main screen to reset CyberCafPro once the timer has been stopped. The Exit password is used on the mainscreen to exit CyberCafPro. Below the passwords are the security settings, which should normally be all enabled. The Auto Reset Time is the amount of time it will take for CyberCafPro to reset itself after a client has logged off. Rates & Disable The Rates & Disable tab allows you to set the amount you will charge customers for time on the system. You can specify how much you will charge for any increment of time. The normal time increment is one minute. You can also specify a minimum charge, that will be the minimum amount charged as soon as the timer starts, now matter how short the session. If you specify a base charge, this is the starting point of the charges, and increment up from there based on the time charges. Here you can also disable the system, causing the 'Out Of Service' sign to flash on the main screen, and the buttons to disable. This will be reenabled automatically when the system is restarted, or when CyberCafPro is restarted. Sound Settings The Sound Settings tab allows you to set the WAV file that is played for all CyberCafPro system events. You can test the sound in this screen, and disable one or all sounds here. User Instructions Editor The User Instructions Editor allows you to edit the instructions a user sees when he presses the 'Instructions' button on the main screen
