At whAt point did you become interested in politics? whAt mAde you decide to run? I became aware of school politics several years ago and I decided to run because you miss 100% of the shots you never take. would you consider pursuing politics beyond the scope of A university setting? I dont know, it depends on my future. which federAl politicAl pArty do your support/ feel most closely reflects your politics? I dont feel this question is relevant. The UVSS is a non-partisan organization and I think political affiliations at other levels should not influence decision-making on the Board. hAve you ever been to A boArd meeting? Not yet. whAt is your position on uvics smoking policy thAt bAns smoking inside ring roAd? Banning smoking from the Ring is short sighted and will not work. UVics smoking policy should be fair to everyonesome restriction around buildings and heavy traffic areas is reasonable, but smoking should be permitted in open spaces like the quad. whAt is victoriAs first trAnsit priority? We need to improve service at peak morning hours so students dont get passed up on their way to class. BC Transit should update their bus schedules to better allocate buses and routes based on current ridership statistics. fees and organizational reforms including making the SUB independent of the UVSS to prevent student fees from subsidizing SUB operations, and adopting a policy requiring that all student fees be brought to referendum every five years. People should not be afraid of their governments.Governments should be afraid of their people. whAt do you plAn on doing After grAduAtion And whAt kind of skills do you hope to Acquire on the uvss boArd?

At the boArd level, whAt chAnges cAn be mAde to increAse the uvss visibility on cAmpus, such As voter turnout, pArticipAtion, etc? The UVSS needs to make itself more relevant to students in all faculties, including engineering and commerce. Greater effort must be made to represent students across campus and ensure the UVSS membership gets value for their money. I support UVSS

Working in a tech based field, for now I am keeping my options open. if you were to creAte Any course At uvic, whAt would it be And why? If we have Womens Studies, why not Mens Studies? whAt is the best coffee on cAmpus? Is this really a question people want me to answer?
