Manual data abstraction is not allowed. McKesson Quality eMeasures calculates and submits meaningful use quality measures to the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) and the states, providing an integrated approach to meeting reporting requirements. The web-based software as a service (SaaS) model allows stakeholders immediate access to view, monitor and analyze results as needed. As new measures are introduced, McKesson will quickly incorporate changes into the calculations to prevent reporting backlogs.
Getting Started
McKesson Quality eMeasures is available to customers who have installed the required EHR technology and implemented codified and prescriptive clinical content. To capture the data necessary for metric calculation, organizations must be live housewide on the following products: Horizon Emergency Care (or other certified EDIS) Horizon Expert Orders Horizon Admin-Rx Horizon Health Summary Horizon Expert Documentation The implementation of McKesson Quality eMeasures begins within approximately 30 days of your Horizon Clinicals 10.3.1 go-live and spans approximately six to eight weeks.

Accelerated Adoption
